Chapter 2 - Moon Soorin (1)

[Welcome to the world of Sex Academy.]

[The player, Kim Jinho, has been personally invited by the God of Wagers, the organizer of the Sex Academy.]

[To balance the system, which was found to have some degree of compulsion and unfairness, the player is to be assisted.]

Before I could even wrap my head around it, sentences started popping up before my eyes in rapid succession.

[80% compulsion for possession confirmed.]

[Originated from a world without mana and monsters confirmed]

[Compulsion of the main quest confirmed.]

[Judgment result. Extreme difficulty level, clear probability 0.002%.]

[Considering the lack of fairness, special rewards will be granted.]

The messages kept streaming in without a moment's pause, hardly giving me a chance to read them before moving on to the next.

[Special perk for compulsory possession: Memory Enhancement]

[Special perk for originating from a world without mana and monsters: Clear Mental Strength]

[Special perk for compulsion of the main quest: Mana Sensitivity]

[Introduction of the Heroine Capture System.]

"What on earth…?"

[Re-judgment result. Highest difficulty level, clear probability 6%.]

[Remember that the probability can vary depending on how the player acts. Good luck.]

Those sentences filled my vision in an instant. I tried reading them once, but my brain struggled to keep up. As I attempted to regain my composure and read them again, the letters started vibrating.

The vibrating sentences shone brightly, gradually losing their shape until they turned into a mass of light that struck my body.

"Uwaaaah… Ah… Huh? That didn't hurt at all?"

Isn't writhing in severe pain a cliché by now?

Instead of pain, my mind became incredibly clear, and my thoughts turned razor-sharp.

The system claimed that I had been personally invited by the god of this world. So, it was none other than [god6974], the very person I had a little spat with that night. As it turned out, they were the god of this world and had whisked me away because they couldn't handle the criticism I had given their game in my review. The nerve.

Invitation? Is this how gods invite people? They want me to be the main character and completely change the storyline? This is beyond ridiculous.

Right, the main quest. There was mention of [compulsion of the main quest].

"Main quest."

Bzzz!

I hesitantly spoke those words, and once again, the letters appeared before my eyes.

[Main Quest: Conquer all the heroines and survive until the end of the game. If you can. Failure penalty: Death]

If some random stranger started cursing at me, of course I'd get annoyed, as anyone would. But seriously, can a god be this petty?

There were six heroines in this game. Even in the game itself, pursuing all six at once was impossible, let alone in reality.

"Well, I have no choice."

Is it worth pondering whether I can do it or not? That's just a waste of mental energy. Instead, I should focus on figuring out how to make it happen.

Being stuck in that situation, I decided to give it my all. Even it was absurd, I managed to stay calm. Maybe it was thanks to the Clear Mental Strength I received as a special perk.

"So, what's my plan now?"

First off, I decided to ditch the idea of trying to imitate the protagonist, Lee Hoyeon, as much as possible. In Sex Academy, there was no harem route, unfortunately. I could only pursue one heroine per playthrough. Sure I still remembered the different strategies to pursue each heroine, but this was no longer just a game; it became my reality.

Just going through a few events like in the game wasn't going to magically increase their affinity, and copying Lee Hoyeon's every move would be utterly pointless. Plus, expecting myself to live my everyday life exactly like Lee Hoyeon was just setting myself up for disappointment. I needed to find my own way to handle this whole situation.

Maybe I should gather my thoughts?

Whenever I started something, I liked to organize the tasks in a specific order. So I grabbed my notebook and pen from my bag and sat down at the desk.

Tasks to be done:

– Confirm the special perks.

– Spot the deviations from the original.

– Get familiar with the lay of the land.

– Gauge my combat prowess.

Is that all I can think of for now?

Honestly, I couldn't come up with anything else after "Get familiar with the lay of the land", so I threw in "Gauge my combat prowess" just to fill the space.

Well, eventually, I gotta do that check anyway. But for now, the most crucial task is to confirm any deviations from the original…

Glancing at the clock, it's 6:30. Not late, but definitely not early-bird territory.

"Should I take a casual stroll around the nearby shopping district?"

Sure, it was definitely a good idea to delve into researching those special perks I had just acquired, but familiarizing myself with the local geography was equally important. It would help me identify any deviations from the original and I could organize the information later in the night.

For now, I need to explore the surroundings of the academy.

With my tasks set, I hopped up from my seat.

The shopping district around the academy was quite fascinating. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from the main gate, I found a massive shopping center, entertainment joints, and convenience stores all huddled together.

Considering the academy attracted young talented people with a knack for having a blast, it's no wonder the area was so well-developed.

There were all sorts of amusement spots and convenience stores, and there was even a damn power plant nearby. It turned out, taking a gander at the surroundings was a good choice.

For the time being, my focus was on revisiting the event spots from the game. If luck smiled upon me, I might just bump into the heroines. And even if luck didn't favor me, getting familiar with the geography around those event spots would definitely pay off at some point.

Walking down streets I had only seen in the game felt kinda surreal, and in a world where mana was a dime a dozen, there were plenty of products that seemed way more fascinating than in my world.

"I should take it easy and explore the area, treating it as a crash course in geography on day one."

With that thought in mind, I casually strolled around, not overthinking it. There was even a food cart selling skewered monster meat, so I figured I'd give it a shot, and man, was it unexpectedly delicious.

I was wondering how the heck I would manage my expenses at the academy, but I heard they would be supporting us with a monthly stipend of 300,000 won to keep our dignity intact. No wonder everyone's eager to join the academy.

As I walked and enjoyed my skewer, suddenly a speech bubble popped up right in front of me.

[Sub quest has been received]

[Build a connection with a heroine!]

[Do you have what it takes to win over a heroine?]

[Engage in a conversation with a heroine for at least 5 lines!]

[Reward: Random stat increase by 1]

"Oh, fuck! That startled me."

What's this? A sub quest? So, this must be the Heroine Capture System they mentioned.

▶ Agility: 30

▶ Endurance: 34

My current stats range from 30 to 40, placing me at an average to slightly below average level among the students at Victoria Academy.

"Hmm, getting a random +1 stat isn't too shabby."

In the game, I could just hit the "Training" button and watch my stats shoot through the roof. But that kind of thing doesn't happen in the real world. Plus, I didn't see myself dedicating hours to physical training anytime soon.

"But who should I go for?"

The level of difficulty in winning over each heroine varied greatly. Choosing the right one to interact with was the key to completing the sub quest.

I'd love to meet a chill and easygoing heroine. No point in meeting with someone like Nam Daeun who'd probably brush me off rather than listen to a word I say. That would be a lost cause.

Right then, I caught the sound of some girls getting all excited up ahead.

"Hey, check it out. Isn't that the person sitting in the café, like the student council president?!"

"No way! So, the rumors about her working there sometimes are actually true? From now on, that's my go-to spot!"

A stunning beauty, even glimpsed from the side through the café's transparent side. Surprisingly, on my very first day, an important person caught my attention.

Moon Soorin.

The granddaughter of Victoria Academy's chairman, sitting in the café, brows furrowed, and staring at her laptop.

Even from a distance, her platinum blonde hair and those refined features screamed, "I'm the perfect student." And that flawless, fair skin radiated a pheromonal charm that could easily lure any guy. Those vintage horn-rimmed glasses couldn't hide her allure.

Even in her school uniform, her curves were impossible to overlook, clearly setting her apart from the typical model student.

Moon Soorin is the only heroine in Sex Academy rocking glasses, making her the darling of the glasses enthusiasts. But if you pursue her route, she eventually ditches the glasses for contact lenses to make a stronger impression on the protagonist, leaving the glasses fans crushed. Poor souls.

She's the one I was most excited to meet. Who knows, perhaps things will smoothly fall into place.
