Derick Sterlinkov, the formidable beastman who had carelessly dropped his scythe, strode forward confidently and declared, "Put those weapons down, folks." His demeanor oozed with a sense of calm assurance as he added, "If you're itching for a brawl, we can always save it for later. Right now, let's have a chat."

David couldn't hold back his surprise, exclaiming, "Brother!" But Derick quickly hushed him with a stern, "Silence!"

With a deliberate motion, he lowered himself to the ground, prompting Rizki to slowly sheathe his sword. Rizki followed suit and took a seat, trying to appear nonchalant. In the midst of this tense moment, Derick assured them, "I have no plans to launch an attack or slip poison into your tea."

Rizki regarded him skeptically and remarked, "Sounds like something you'd do." He sat down calmly, his gaze locked onto Derick.
