CLARA'S POV
Jane gave a happy gurgle and released me to hurdle herself at Taki, confident he would catch her.
He did and then swung her high off the ground in a gentle hug. "Did you know we were coming today?" he asked her.
She nodded. "Yep. The Earth told me."
"Thought she might. Rumor has it you owe Max a rematch on Old Maid."
She shook her head as she put both small hands on Taki's cheeks. "He's really not very good at cards." She shut her eyes for a moment. "Watch behind you, Daddy."
Taki narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean?"
She shrugged. "The Earth told me to tell you. Don't forget."
"I won't." He promised. "What else has she told you?"
She was quiet for a moment before shrugging. "I'm going to have a baby brother." I coughed in surprise as she grinned mischievously. "But I don't know when."
Taki chuckled and placed her back on the ground.
