Chapter 47 - 47. Moving

Anna looked back at Dylan.

Seeing his gaze seeing straight in her direction, Anna's pupil trembled slightly. She silently retracted her gaze.

"If you're asking whether I'll help them or not, then my answer is no." Anna pursed her lips. "If I have no strength, helping other people without thinking whether they worth it or not is stupid."

Call her selfish or anything, but Anna didn't want to be the stupid person who share what she has without any reservation to others. She has no obligation to do that and more than anything else, what she wanted is to protect herself.

It's hard enough for her to live on her own.

Why should she care about others so much?

If it was her friends or someone she knew, she might consider helping if the situation was appropriate. But asking her for help while putting her own life at risk, Anna will definitely not do anything like that.

"It's good." Dylan heaved a sigh of relief.
