His hand went to the sword hilt hanging by his side, and he swiftly drew his blade.
Blake's lips curled into a slight smirk, and he pointed the sword at the incoming beast, ready to cut down its head.
Perhaps their situation wasn't too bad after all. He had been waiting for the right time to test his new sword and skills out in combat, and this dog seemed like the perfect test subject.
'Let's do this!' He thought, and was about to charge at the beast before Aria suddenly stopped him.
"Huh?" He mumbled in surprise, his head turning back to her.
"Stay back, your wound would only get worse. Let me handle this." Aria said, stretching her hand towards the beast.
Whoosh!
'Light arrows.' Almost immediately, three radiant arrows appeared in front of her before shooting at the dog with great speed.
Bark!
The dog barked at the incoming arrows, instinctively pausing its steps.
