While Marcus was lost in his thoughts, Arianna was feeling something different in her body. There was this urge to sprint into the forest, run wild with no one, and nothing stopping her. She gasped and started breathing heavily, what was wrong with me? She thought.
This was so unusual, something like this had never happened before to her while trying to find out what was wrong with her body. Arianna found herself growling at Marcus.
Growl.
Marcus who was in deep thought heard the growl but it felt like his ears were deceiving him. There was no way he could hear a growl when no wolf was around.
Then he heard it again.
Growl.
This time he believed that his hearing wasn't bad, he looked around but couldn't see anyone except himself and….Arianna.
Of course, why didn't he think of that, Arianna was the one who growled, and nobody else.
