The Imperial Knight he spoke to gritted his teeth and clenched his fist, unable to respond to Elish's words.
"And the second. You seek revenge for the sake of another, whereas I seek revenge for what is truly mine! My revenge is mine and mine alone. And that, young man, is why you are foolish and undeserving of such a gratifying quest such as revenge," Elish said to him with a tone of finality.
His face fell and he was unable to let out another word of defiance.
