Elish released the Hex protecting Astra and his new slave. They immediately rushed to him as he moved some distance from the Apostle.
"Master Elish..." Astra said, rushing to him but ultimately stopping before reaching him.
She sensed something was off, and so she decided to back off for the moment.
Elish ignored her and walked toward the hybrid slave, nodding his head at him slowly.
"Do it."
The slave understood immediately and brought out his shadow, forming a sharp spike blade. The obsidian blade gleamed in the moonlight as shadowy energies wrapped themselves around its edge
"Thank you, Lord Elish," The Apostle restated, her eyes still closed and tears of gratitude streaming from her eyes.
Of course, Elish gave his word to her, and he would keep it.
He wouldn't kill her.
But… he never said anything about his slave.
