Gray could not believe what he had just heard.
Of course, he was aware of the many incredible things and as such, his great titles. This Werewolf pack had always been an isolated one and that made him wonder if his name and the accomplishments he had made in this world had washed away like the tides of the sea.
Apparently, it hadn't.
However, when he had been alive, he had only been a Grand Duke. From what he had just heard, this Andrew before him was a prince.
Gray could not believe that he was not just a father but also a grand father. Instantly, the image of a particular woman came to his mind.
In his many years as a Hunter, she was the only woman that ever sparked the butterflies in his heart. They were many that tried to get with him and some even poisoned him with aphrodisiac just to have his seed in them, but he was a very disciplined man, controlling his urges and putting all of his efforts into forging a path for humanity to build and grow.
Back then, his only want or need in life was to create utopia for humanity. He had no time for the female gender. And as such, he had blocked all distractions, only pursuing knowledge and strength.
He had left to hunt the Vampire god in a hurry, and only did the deed because she insisted that he left her with a piece of him.
When he finally took her to his bed, he had loved her whole heartedly and passionately.
He could not believe that his one night stand yielded such fruits.
Gray looked at Andrew and stared deep in his eyes. Right now, he was even more confused as to what to do.
This man before him was responsible for the death of his father, but he was potentially his grandson. Gray felt his common sense instantly shatter, and a swarm of different emotions ran through him.
There was shock, a ting of excitement, but most of all, there was total and utter disgust. This disgust was not just for Andrew, but also for himself.
With all the high and mighty standards that he had laid down for the next generation to follow, creating a path to the new world order. All he could get for his hard work was the nonsense in front of him?
That disgust morphed further into anger. Gray could not help but look around at the pain and chaos and then back at the source of it all.
Andrew, a so called part of his blood had done this.
Pride!? Hell No. It was only out of intense self control that he did not vomit for seeing his face.
At this moment, Gray wished he had better cut off his manhood than be the reason for the existence of such a person.
By his side, his retractable claws slowly protruded out from his fingers, and he wanted to smack the face of Andrew before him.
*Cough!* cough!*
The sound of someone coughing caught his attention. Gray turned and to his surprise, it was Rose.
She coughed up some blood. However, something was wrong.
He could clearly see that she was alive, but that cough now was just her body fighting to remain in this world. Rose had always been a tough girl.
She would not just give up the ghost without a fight.
Gray was a smart man. He knew what he was supposed to give priority over. And right now, he was supposed to find a way to save the life of his family.
From where he was, he instantly noticed what was happening.
"Its not working!" Gray pointed at her.
"What's not working?" Andrew asked turning in Roses direction.
"Its not working! She is not healing. She is dying!" Gray stated trying to hold his panic.
Andrew raised a brow at this. From what Gray had said, Rose was one of the descendants of the royal family of the old Fang empire. Alive, she was worth a lot especially to certain nobles but dead, she was worth nothing.
"Give her more blood from her pack!" Andrew ordered.
Immediately, Gray realized what was wrong.
"Wait! That's it! That's what is wrong. Stop! don't give her any more blood it won't help!"
"Huh!? make up your mind boy. Do you want your girlfriend saved or not!" a hunter stated.
Gray frowned, "She is not my girlfriend she is my sister! And earlier, before you lot attacked us, our father was just Dethroned. That's why its not working. We are no longer a part of this pack. Their blood will not heal her. But..."
"Yours will!" Andrew finished his sentence.
He turned to one of the hunters, "Release him!"
"But Boss! What if he tries to run?"
Andrew turned and took a look at Gray. He shook his head. "This one won't do that. He has too much to lose if does!"
Andrew pointed at Cherry still in the hands of another Hunter.
Evidently, he could tell that Cherry was a part of their family.
Gray gritted his teeth, but he nodded, not complaining.
"I wont run."
"Good cub!" Andrew nodded.
Gray was freed from his chains and immediately, he rushed for Rose.
The first thing he did, was to check her injuries.
Gray had studied a lot in many libraries of the world and knew extensively about the human body. One look at her and he could tell what was wrong.
He also had extensive knowledge about Supernaturals.
Of course, ingesting the blood of a pack member could help heal. But there was no book that stated that it only had to be through the mouth.
With an aggressive bite on his wrist, he poured a lot of his blood into her mouth and then some into her injuries. As he did, his mouth moved slowly.
No one knew what he was doing, but it made Andrew frown.
After all, Gray was using an incantation... A language of the Human god.
