As Gray was plagued by the turbulence inside his soul, he felt himself being pulled from below. It was as if someone was pulling at his legs, trying to pull him into the abyss of the negative energy. And so, he felt himself drowning. However, as he did, a memory was suddenly sparked in his head....
It was of his father, Ironclaw, as he taught Gray's elder brother Dan on how to control is bloodline energy. At the time, Gray was only six years old, and while a lot of the children his age had unlocked their bloodline ability, he hadn't. This particular day had been snowing. It was cold and many rather stayed in doors, but Gray had not. He came out to the cold expecting a way to find an end to his immortality and that was when he saw his father teaching his elder brother.
