Twilight placed a trembling hand over the bucket, rain dripping from her soaked hair and face as she focused all her will.

Her brows furrowed deeply, and her lips pressed into a tight line as she tried to connect with the blood inside. Her breaths came in sharp bursts, the cold biting into her skin as she strained, but nothing happened at first. Frustration welled up inside her.

"Come on... just move already," she muttered under her breath, her voice barely audible over the storm.

The bucket sat motionless for what felt like an eternity. Then, as Twilight's focus deepened, a subtle ripple stirred the surface. The water in the bucket began to tremble, almost as if the entire contents were about to rise. No one else noticed—Agape remained meditative, and Dawn sharpened his focus on the ropes Gray was holding—but Gray's sharp eyes didn't miss the subtle shift. He watched intently, a spark of intrigue in his gaze.
