As the celebration continued, a certain old man with a large scar on his face, a centaur dressed in clothes made entirely of the skin of dead baboons walked forward with a staff made out of the remains of baboon bones.
The moment he did, the centaurs celebrating immediately ceased all activities as they stood to their hooves and bowed in his direction.
The arrival of the old elder, known as Old Bark, brought an immediate and profound change to the atmosphere of the celebration. The revelry ceased as the Tree Top Centaurs rose to their feet, their earlier joy replaced by a deep respect and reverence for the elder. His attire, made from the skin of dead baboons, and his staff, crafted from their bones, clattered with a distinct ringing noise with each step he took, announcing his presence and authority.
