A queen and a young princess are walking down the halls of a crystal castle.
Queen: "As you know, your sister Linda is about to become queen."
Young Princess: "Mmhm. And your point is?"
Queen: "She will be busy with her duties."
Young Princess: "Okay. And?"
Queen: "Your father and I have decided to find you a friend."
The Young Princess looks at the Queen with an 'are you kidding me' look.
Young Princess: "Your joking. Please say your joking....is there a way I can cancel this? I wanna cancel it."
Linda: "Sorry Jasmine. Mother and Father already scheduled it for tonight."
Jasmine grits her teeth a slowly turns around, and starts muttering words. She marches to her bedroom.
(Jasmine has long purple hair that she keeps in a ponytail, her eyes are magenta, and she wears a dark pink sleeveless top and skirt, and wears purple boots. As for Linda, she looks like her mother; long, amber hair, orange eyes. Except Linda likes to wear a wear a red top and red skirt, an orange short sleeve jacket, and orange heels)
Linda: "Are you sure what you're doing is the right choice?"
Queen: "I hope so."
[Meanwhile at the orphanage...A lady walks in to a room.]
Teenager 1: "Hello, Ms.Ruby."
Ms.Ruby: "Hello children. I hope you're all excited! Because today, the king and queen are choosing a new friend for princess Jasmine!"
Everyone immediately hid, shaking in fear. Except for one. The weird and quiet one.
Ms.Ruby: "Er, you get to live in the castle as well."
[crickets chirp]
Teenager 2: "Everyone says that you are very stupid if you get close to princess Jasmine."
Teenager 3: "Grace is stupid."
Ms.Ruby: "Well I'm sure what they say about Jasmine isn't true."
Grace: "What isn't true?"
(Grace has long, turquoise colored hair, and aqua green eyes. She wore a white short sleeve and blue jean shorts.)
Teenager 3: "Welcome to reality."
Someone knocks on the door.
Ms.Ruby: "Well, you children take your time to figure out who's leaving. I'm going to see who's at the door."
The the ones who hid came out and joined up into a close circle.
Teenager 3: "If Jasmine is truly as dangerous as they say she is--"
Teenager 4: "she is."
Teenager 3: "I believe we may have found a way to get rid of Grace."
Teenager 1: "Wait, so we're sending her to Jasmine?"
Teenager 2: "Exactly. She won't survive a day."
[Meanwhile...]
Ms.Ruby: "Oh, your majesty!"
Queen: "Good afternoon Ms.Ruby."
Ms.Ruby: "Might I ask, why are you here?"
Queen: "You should know why. I'm here to pick up Stephanie."
Ms.Ruby: "Well there's been a slight problem with that..."
Queen: "Oh?"
Ms.Ruby: "She doesn't wan to go. None of them want to go. All of them hid except Grace."
Queen: "You mean the dumb one?"
Ms.Ruby: "Unfortunately..."
The Queen walks back to the castle to give the news.
King: "And she is sure that there is no one else?"
Queen: "She said that everyone hid at the mention of Jasmine's name. They're afraid of her."
King: "And this dumb one is not?"
Queen: "Apparently so."
[That night...]
Ms.Ruby: "We are so honored to be here your highness." *looks at Grace and murmurs* "Grace, can you say 'hello' to the king and queen?"
Grace: *mutters*
Linda and Jasmine walk in.
Linda: "They brought this girl?"
Jasmine: "What's wrong with her?"
Linda: "Everything!"
Jasmine: *looks at Linda* "I thought you said 'there's a bit of potential in every being'."
Linda: "I did. But there's just no hope for this girl. No one understands her."
King: "Ah, there you are Jasmine."
Grace: *fidgets with her hands*
Ms.Ruby: *whispers to Grace* "You are in front of a royal presence. Now quit it."
Grace: *murmurs* "Sorry."
Queen: "Jasmine, I want you to meet Grace. She's very shy--"
Jasmine: "So she'll leave me alone. I love my new friend already."
Linda: *'really' look*
Jasmine: "I don't need a friend okay? And I don't want one either!"
Ms.Ruby: "Princess Jasmine, it's for your own good!"
Jasmine: "I can do fine on my own thank you."
Linda: "Listen Jasmine,"
Jasmine: "No you listen"
Linda: "No--"
Jasmine: "Nonono, listen Linda, listen--"
Ms.Ruby: "Your sister is going to be queen!"
Jasmine: "I KNOW!"
Ms.Ruby: "Your sister won't always be able--"
Jasmine: "Yeah, yeah. She's just going to be to busy kissing up on her--"
Queen: "JASMINE!"
Jasmine: "WHAT? IT'S TRUE!"
Guard: *murmurs* "I feel bad for Linda's children already."
Guard 2: "Mmmhm."
Grace wanders off as Jasmine argues with everyone. The place was huge. She already knew for certain that she would get lost in this place many times.
Jasmine: *in a distorted voice* "I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!"
Ms.Ruby: "Does anyone know where Grace is?"
Linda: "Do you think she wandered off?"
Ms.Ruby: "I hope not."
Grace: "Uhh...where am I?"
Jasmine: "What are you doing?"
Grace: "Huh?"
Jasmine: "I said what are you doing?"
Grace: *stares for a moment, then blinks*
Jasmine: "Please leave."
Grace: *murmurs* "Can't."
Jasmine: "What do you mean 'can't'? Do you need me to throw you out the window?"
Grace: *blinks*
Jasmine: *scoffs* "Just get out of my sight."
Jasmine walks away, goes to her room and locks the door. She leans against the door, and slowly slides down to the floor.
Jasmine: *sighs*
Voice: *murmurs* "Princess Jasmine?"
Jasmine: "Go away Grace!"
Grace: "I know it sounds weird but... I want to stay."
Jasmine: "Please. You're making me laugh."
Grace: "Really?"
Jasmine: "No."
Grace: "Oh...you scare everyone."
Jasmine: "Yeah, and?"
Grace: "Why aren't they going to burn you?"
Jasmine quickly opened her door with a confused look.
Jasmine: "What?"
Grace: "I don't fit in."
Jasmine: "Well there's no shame in that."
Grace: "On my way here I heard the townspeople talking about burning those who can't act normal."
Jasmine: "Define 'normal'. What does a 'normal' being do?"
Grace: "Well, they socialize, they can be understood, and they have emotions."
Jasmine: *mutters* "I'm killing whoever came up with this idea." *in normal voice* "So why you? You seem okay."
Grace: "I can't talk right. And I get distracted easily."
Ms.Rose: "GRACE SAPPHIRE YOU BETTER COME BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!"
