Tale of Two Princes

The story follows two young princes from different kingdoms, Elrys and Nikolas, as they try to navigate a world that is not as it seems. Life experiences within their kingdoms skewed their views of the outside world. When an unexplained dragon attack forces Elrys to abandon his home. His actions going forward have a ripple effect on Nikolas, who attends a magical academy for royalty and nobility. The academy is attacked and destroyed, leaving only a few survivors and himself, Nikolas decides to return home and inform his father of the deaths of other kingdoms' heirs. Only to find his kingdom going to war while an unknown threat lurks in the shadows. The Princes try to forge their path that becomes increasingly entangled as they move forward; Elrys seeks revenge and a return to the status quo while Nikolas desperately tries to save his kingdom from imminent destruction.
