Tyler was still at country F handling some work. In truth, he didn't want to go back some. He didn't want to see her face. After his blow out with her yesterday, all his mood got spoiled. All he was thinking off was Emily and how annoying she is. must she always have it her way?
Ever since that day in high school, he had dreaded the day he would meet her. he wanted to get back at her and the marriage seemed like the perfect opportunity.
Ever since that day in high school, he hated her. Not just because of the duel, nut because she always made herself look like she was the best. She was a spoiled only child and he hated it. He knew she cheated in that duel; or that is what he likes to think. He wanted to put her in check before she makes a mess of his pack. So, he made her think she was in control and married her.
Oliver walked in and bowed.
"Did Emily return home safely?"
"Yes, Alpha."
There was an awkward silence in the room.
"If you have something to say, just say it." Tyler said. It was angry and frustrated as it is and didn't want anyone adding to it.
Oliver was a bit hesitant since the day before because he didn't want to say anything that will upset him but he had to ask. "Alpha, don't you think you were a bit harsh on the luna yesterday?"
Tyler took a deep breath. "She deserved it." And with that respond, Oliver knew not to push the matter any further.
Suddenly, Oliver received a call.
"Good morning, sir." Oliver said to the person on the other line.
"Party?" Oliver asked the person on the other line in shock. Oliver and Tyler looked at each other. They didn't understand what was going on.
"Okay, Thank you. We will be expecting you. Thank you." He said and cut the call.
"What's wrong?" Tyler asked.
"Alpha, that was one of our business partners. He said you are throwing a party." Oliver told him.
"That is not possible. I…"
Tyler thought for a minute and knew a man of that kind can not make that kind of mistake which means that he was actually throwing a party he knew nothing about. He picked up his phone immediately and dialed Emily's number but she wasn't picking.
"Call Emily, now!" Tyler ordered.
Oliver tried calling her but she wasn't picking. He called Claire and she picked.
"I would like to speak to the Luna." Oliver said
"The Luna is not receiving calls at this hour. You may leave a message." Claire said from the other line.
Tyler signalled him to hand him the phone.
"Where is Emily?" Tyler asked.
"I am sorry alpha, but my luna is not receiving…"
"Give her the fucking phone now!" Tyler yelled.
There was silence at the end of the line and after a few seconds Emily came in.
"Emily speaking."
"What are you doing?"
"What are you talking about?"
"What is this I am hearing about a party?" Tyler asked furious.
"Oh! The party you are throwing for me? thanks so much darling. Even though you are away you still did all this for me. thanks darling." Emily said with fake excitement.
Tyler could clearly sense it. "Emily, you better stop all this right now or else…"
"Honey better come back before the party. You don't want to embarrass your luna and your guest, do you?"
"I can't believe this." Tyler murmured angrily under his breath.
"Okay then, bye." Emily said and cut the call.
"Emily. Emily!" Tyler called out to the phone angrily but she had already cut the call.
Emily handed Claire's phone back to her with a smile.
"What is going to happen now, my luna?" Claire asked.
"Keep preparing for the party. Make sure to invite everyone on the list."
"Yes, my luna." Claire bowed and left.
Emily knew what she was doing. She was the one who asked the partner to call Tyler so that he will make a decision and come back. He had to come back. She had to make things right.
