"Hey!"
Enoch turned on his heels when he heard Ruthlyn's voice, as he had been waiting for her for the past thirty minutes. Staring at the sparkling reflection of the crescent moon on the rippling surface of the water had made the time go unnoticed by him.
"Hi!" He greeted back politely, soliloquizing inwardly if it was alright that right now, he prefered the time he was always at loggerheads with Ruthlyn to this time when she had finally agreed to keep the engagement in place. Was it him, or was their relationship finally getting boring? A week old relationship?!
"Doesn't the lake look more beautiful than it should look on a crescent moon night?"
Ruthlyn's question snapped him out of his thoughts and he turned to face her, a small smile settled on his lips. He was really scared of doing anything that could make her reconsider her decision before his birthday party.
