Shikera's steps were faster than those of the men even with their long legs that seemed to have unrivalled strides. She followed the nurse who had to match up to her pace while leading them to Liam Anderson's ward.
"Which floor is he on?" Shikera asked as they stepped into the elevator. With a face void of any form of emotions, she pressed the button to close the elevator doors even though Ethan and the rest weren't near yet.
"Shikera!" Noah exclaimed, quickening his pace.
However, the doors closed before any of them could get there. Shikera turned to the nurse who was now staring at her with an unsure expression and smiled.
"It's alright. You don't have to worry about them," she said.
Nodding, the nurse replied, "Your father is on the 10th floor but we're working towards transferring him down to the ground floor. What do you think, Miss Anderson?"
