"Max! Are you listening!" Father scolded me.
I jumped to see him and Alpha John smirking. I blushed a little and tried to shake my thoughts clear. I'd insisted Willow go see the doctor today, I even took her myself. However, I had a meeting that I couldn't get out of which meant that I couldn't stay, so it was hard to concentrate.
"I'm sorry Alpha, sorry Father."
He was just about to say something when the Luna rushed in.
"Sebastian is having the baby!"
We'd all raced off, I collected Willow, and then we all rushed to the hospital. I wanted to ask her about the doctor's visit but whenever I tried, something would come up and distract us. It felt like hours when the doctor came out with a smile.
"Both baby boy and father are doing just fine!"
We all cheered but were instantly shushed by the nurses. It took a little longer for us to be able to see Sebastian. His little boy was beautiful, it made me want one of my own. I glanced at Willow who was cooing over the baby and smiled.
"One day," I mouthed and she smirked.

We hadn't been allowed to stay so I was on my way home. Willow was gazing out the window and sighing every so often. Worry filled my heart as I pulled up outside our home.
"Willow?" I called out after she headed straight inside.
She paused in the doorway and gave me a small smile. Willow motioned me to come inside and dread filled my stomach. It was something bad, wasn't it?
I walked in and she patted the space across from her at the table. Her face was pinched tight as if she wasn't sure what to say.
"Baby, whatever it is, just tell me. We can work it out together," I insisted.
"Together is what's caused this," she mused.
"What? What do you mean?"
"Well, I guess there is no easy way to say this," she started with a big sigh.
My heart froze and my stomach flipped.
"Max …. I'm pregnant!"
No sooner had she said that than she burst out laughing.
"You should see the look on your face!"
I forced myself to shake my head clear. Did she say what I think she said?
"Max? Did you hear me?" she asked.
"Say it again!" I demanded.
"I said I'm pregnant!" she repeated.
The words sunk in slowly when they finally cleared in my head I was instantly on my feet and picking her up. She laughed as I spun her around. My laughter joined in with hers.
"Are you serious?" I asked, not quite believing it.
"Yeah," she chuckled. "That's what the doctor said earlier. At first, I was shocked but then …"
She beamed up at me and I knew. It was the same way I was feeling at the moment. So fucking happy!

The weeks progressed and I couldn't have been happier. Being a shifter meant Willow was following a wolf's gestation which meant we'd meet our new pup in around nine weeks. I had no idea how the humans managed to wait nine months.
Seeing her stomach grow as well as her confidence within the pack was amazing. She couldn't wait to tell my father and sister, as well as Alpha, Luna and Sebastian.
Of course, Sebastian, Bonnie and Luna Marie went into baby shower mode. I don't know how Sebastian did it with a newborn and all.
The baby shower had been a big hit. Willow had been pampered and our pup had lots of new things already. I was kneeling looking through them all with Sebastian. He was telling me what everything was for. Diaper bins, bottle cleansers and everything else.
"Max!"
Willow gasped out my name with a hint of pain in her voice. My wolf leapt up on high alert. Willow was clutching her stomach and wincing.
"Oh my god! It's time!" Sebastian gasped.
I stood frozen as everyone else dashed around. My limbs wouldn't move as I stared at her stomach.
"Are you coming Max, or shall we leave you here?" Willow chuckled.
I shook my head and was immediately by her side. We made it to the shifter clinic in no time. Soon, we were bundled into a hospital room and she was prepared for delivery.
My wolf whined at hearing her cries as she pushed. All I could do was hold her hand and wipe her forehead. My face turned pale as I chanced a glance in between her legs. The sight was enough to almost turn me off ever having sex again.
Soon, the hospital room was filled with the best sound in the world, well next to Willow moaning my name in pleasure. A small baby was bundled away to be cleaned as Willow panted in exhaustion. I kissed her forehead and she smiled tiredly up at me.
"You did so good, baby!"
"Here you go, a beautiful baby girl," the doctor beamed as she placed the most beautiful little thing in Willow's arms.
The baby blinked up at us. I stroked her soft head and kissed her.
"She's perfect," Willow whispered. "Our little Serenity."
We'd spoken about names a few weeks back. I'd wanted to name our child after my best friend Sebastian. Not only had he helped me during my dark times but he'd always welcomed and supported Willow.
It had been easy to think of a boy's name, we'd gone with either Bas or Seb. However, for a girl it had been hard. Eventually, we settled on Serenity as it means peace and calm and that's Sebastian all over.
"Sebastian's gonna freak out when he finds out the meaning behind her name."
---
We were allowed home the next day and soon settled into a rhythm. The twins helped Willow with Serenity whilst I was at work and I would take over duty whilst she studied or slept, whichever she needed.
Sebastian practically cried when we explained the meaning. Even more so when we asked him and Liam to be godfathers. Bonnie of course was her godmother.
I couldn't believe how amazing my life was now. Willow had given me several gifts, first with her love and then with our little girl. Maybe one day we will have one more… I couldn't wait, but for the moment life couldn't be better and I couldn't see my life without Willow and Serenity and everyone else.
