Chapter 10 - The Origin of Problem

Why the bracelets came into existence in the first place? Who is behind this? Why did the bracelets choose them? What the fathers did, and who wants their wrongdoings to be uncovered?...

There are so many questions that came to their mind. Naxis, Sasan, Larette, and Damietta were forced to uncover what their fathers did in the past. Now, they want to hunt down the truth without being pushed by the bracelet's message.

The girls waited the whole day for the task but there was no message and no bracelet beep. The bracelets stop working at that time.

"We need to go to Lezville bay. I think the girl who took her own life…" Naxis send the audio to the girl's group. "I think Robin is the one who is connected to this whole bracelet mystery and what our fathers did" She sends another.

Damietta replied, "Did our fathers involved in her suicide?...".

"No…No…No" Everyone texted.

"We need to meet Mr. Joseph. He might know something" Larette suggested.

Later that day, the four of them decided to follow Larrette's advice and visit Mr. Joseph's house to ask him some questions. They were worried about the situation and had avoided face-to-face contact until now. Fear and uncertainty weighed heavy on their hearts as they drove, unable to face the unknown dangers that lay ahead.

There was only one question they all had. What was in that file and What are the fathers did that created this whole situation?

As Naxis, Sasan, Larette, and Damietta arrived at Mr. Joseph's house, they could feel the tension rising within them. They had avoided this confrontation for so long, but now they knew they had to face the truth no matter how difficult it may be.

The four girls knocked on Mr. Joseph's door and waited anxiously for a response. After a few moments, the door opened and Mr. Joseph greeted them with a warm smile.

"Hello girls, it's good to see you," Mr. Joseph said. "Please, come in."

The girls followed Mr. Joseph into his living room and took a seat on the couch. They were all nervous and unsure of how to begin the conversation, but Mr. Joseph seemed to sense their discomfort.

"It's okay, girls," Mr. Joseph said, patting Naxis on the shoulder. "I know this is a difficult time for you. But I'm here to help in any way I can."

"Thank you, Mr. Joseph," Larette said, taking a deep breath. "We really need your help. We've been receiving these strange messages on our bracelets and we think they might be connected to something our fathers did in the past."

Mr. Joseph's expression turned serious as he listened to Larette's words. He nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"I see," Mr. Joseph said. "Well, I can tell you that there was indeed something strange going on with your fathers' transactions. Prices were being inflated and it seemed as though someone was making a profit off of it. But I never could quite figure out who was behind it all."

The girls exchanged worried glances, unsure of what to make of Mr. Joseph's words.

"Do you think our fathers were involved in this?" Damietta asked, her voice shaking.

"I don't know, girls," Mr. Joseph said, shaking his head. "I really don't know. But I do know that whatever was happening, it was wrong. And I hope that whoever is responsible will be brought to justice."

The girls nodded, feeling a sense of determination growing within them. They knew they had to find out the truth, no matter how difficult it may be. They thanked Mr. Joseph for his help and left his house, determined to uncover the mystery of the bracelets and the wrongdoing of their fathers.
