"How many more bases of 'RED' are to be destroyed?" Tony asked casually.
"Four," John answered precisely.
"So in total there are six bases of this organisation?" Tony muttered as from the information obtained by him, there seemed to be only four bases.
"Well, I found about the remaining ones after interrogating the people from first two bases," John answered as he obviously wouldn't say that the information about the bases was provided to him by the system.
"So which one we are going to now?" Banner said as he tried to pat Lucy who swatted away his hand and hissed at him.
"The base is situated near a city name 'Zaregorod'. About a 150 kms from here," John answered after confirming once again with the system map.
"Hmm, let's stop here for the night and resume our journey to the base tomorrow," Tony said while eyeing the hotel they were approaching.
"Agreed," John said, as he pulled into the hotel's parking lot. "We can use the time to rest and prepare for the mission ahead."
The team checked into the hotel and settled into their rooms for the night, knowing that they had a tough mission awaiting them in the morning. As they drifted off to sleep, their minds were already focused on the task of taking down the remaining bases of 'RED'.
The next morning, the team set out for the base near Zaregorod. As they approached the city, John guided them to a secluded area where the base was believed to be located. They parked their vehicle and made their way towards the base, careful not to alert any guards that might be on duty.
As they reached the perimeter of the base, they could see the familiar red markings and armed guards patrolling the area. Tony, John, and Banner quickly formulated a plan to take down the base and rescue any captives that might be held inside.
With their stealth and precision, the team managed to take down the guards and enter the base undetected.
'The security here seems a bit lax as compared to the earlier base,' John wondered as he had not found any Russian mutant protecting this base.
However just as he had that thought, John sensed four presences rushing towards them. In no time these four people appeared at the end of the door in their path.
John could sense that these four guys were quite powerful.
Tony activated his suit and flew into the air, engaging one of the mutants in hand-to-hand combat. Banner transformed into the Hulk, ready to take on the remaining mutants with sheer brute force.
With a confident smirk, John stepped forward, ready to face the mutants head-on. His Haki allowed him to sense their intentions, and he braced himself for their attack. As one of the mutants charged at him, John activated his Quake Quake Fruit powers, creating powerful shockwaves that knocked him off his feet.
He had only one opponent as the two of the enemies seemed to be focused on fighting Hulk as he had a strong and menacing appearance.
John continued his fight with the person who was quite strong. Although he didn't seem to have any abilities on the surface, the strength packed in his punch could be compared to that of the Rhino.
The battle was fierce, with the mutants proving to be formidable opponents. But the team fought with determination and strategy, exploiting the mutants' weaknesses and coordinating their attacks. Slowly, they began to gain the upper hand, wearing down the mutants with their relentless assault.
The mutant lunged at John with blinding speed, aiming to land a devastating blow. John sidestepped the attack with ease, his reflexes. As the mutant launched another barrage of punches, John countered with precise and powerful strikes of his own. His Haki-enhanced perception allowed him to predict the mutant's movements, dodging and weaving effortlessly.
The mutant's sheer strength was undeniable, each of his blows carrying the force of a sledgehammer. But John matched him with calculated precision, his Quake Quake Fruit powers amplifying the impact of his strikes. With each punch, shockwaves emanated from John's fists, sending the mutant reeling with each devastating impact.
The mutant tried to use his bulk to overpower John, attempting to grapple and restrict his movements. But John's mastery of Haki allowed him to fend off the mutant's attempts, breaking free with a flurry of rapid strikes. With a fierce determination, John pressed his advantage, channeling his Quake Quake Fruit powers into a devastating finishing blow.
A powerful shockwave rippled through the air as John's fist connected with the mutant's jaw, sending him crashing to the ground with an earth-shattering impact. The mutant lay motionless, defeated by John's skill and unwavering resolve.
As the dust settled, John turned his attention to the remaining mutants, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead. With his Haki and Quake Quake Fruit powers at his command, there was no doubt that he was a force to be reckoned with.
Meanwhile Hulk was facing tiw mutants who seemed to have abilities similar to that of the mutant fighting John.
The narrow passageway echoed with the sounds of grunts and crashes as Hulk faced off against the two mutants. The mutants charged at him with ferocious strength, their muscles bulging as they attempted to overpower Hulk.
Moroeover by looking at the actions of the Hulk, he was trying to step away from John and in order to not hurt them while fighting against the mutants. He endured passively while trying to maintain appropriate distance between his comrades.
After concluding that he was at an appropriate distance away from John and Tony, Hulk roared and met the mutants attacks head-on, using his own incredible strength to push back against the two. The passageway was too narrow for Hulk to fully take advantage of his size and agility, but his raw power more than made up for it.
The mutants were relentless, pummeling Hulk with their fists and trying to force him into a corner. But Hulk fought back with a fury, smashing them away with powerful blows and using the walls of the passageway to his advantage.
The narrow space worked to both Hulk's and the mutants' disadvantage, limiting their movements but intensifying the impact of each strike. The sounds of the battle reverberated through the passageway, shaking the walls and causing debris to fall from the ceiling.
Despite the mutants' formidable strength, Hulk's sheer power proved to be too much for them to handle. With a final, thundering blow, he sent the mutants crashing to the ground, defeated and unconscious.
Roaring loudly, Hulk stood victorious in the narrow passageway, the remnants of the fight surrounding him. His towering form filled the space as he glared down at his fallen opponents, a testament to his unbridled strength.
"It's a bit odd," Tony who had also finished his fight muttered.
"Are they really mutants?" John too was curious as all the four they had fought had similar ability which was enhanced strength.
"First let's finish the task at hand and then discuss about this," Banner who had transformed back from Hulk advised.
Tony nodded in agreement, and along with Banner and John they started searching for any thing valuable int he base just like when they had found in the previous ones after defeating the entirety of guards in the base.
