You might heard about a slave group, But have you ever heard about a slave village?
I'm Zerexs, I live in --- I stand in the Luthinia Village and you may find its other name in the school books "SLAVE VILLAGE".
The nobles in my country are disgusted with living beside us and The King allotted a separate land for the slaves in our country --- outside the country in the forest.
In the day, we enter the country and do the chores and whatever the fuck the nobles want, and in the night, we return to the village and hunt food in the forest to keep the body alive.
For the people, who live at the bottom of the world, It's quite peaceful here.
Until they forced us to join the wars because they didn't even have the numbers to fight back the enemy armies.
They took hostage the old ones and forced the kids into the war. In my eyes, The worst kind of human beings are the soldiers, who kill other soldiers just because they were told to. They value their family and don't care about others, As long as it doesn't concern them.
[Author's Note - This is only a Zerexs' view on their country's soldiers and As an author I respect soldiers for protecting our country and if you're one, this might dishearten your mind, so I humbly apologize for that]
My only purpose in my life is to protect my younger brother 'Zeon', Who is the most gullible person you will ever see. He trusts in everything like fate & destiny. For a weak person to live in this hell, they need faith. People prayed every day just to be betrayed by their faith.
We were separated into the different units in the army, I asked them to at least put us together. They just won't listen to us and do something we ask even at their death. I prayed in my life for the first time for my brother.
The war was over, And I searched for my brother and found him half dead with no limbs on the battlefield. I didn't cry but slammed my hand on his chest and I said "Don't you dare to die before me!", I was angry at myself and hated myself, I'm good for nothing. I continued my slamming and the speed of my heartbeat increased and my eyes felt like coming out of the socket and suddenly his blood energy emerged from his body and covered me, I could feel him, he was alive, and his consciousness was alive.
I felt like the luckiest and happiest person in the world. Then, I got the idea of absorbing others' blood energies, I became what I hated, I joined the army, volunteered myself, and killed other soldiers, proved my worth to the King, and became a commander. I might just conquer this world now.
I'll make the rules of this world, I'll become the faith itself for him. That's me, Zerexs, "A Brother"
