Sennaida had just left her workshop after depositing her luggage there. She was on her way to see her sister, who had a self-proclaimed office next to the warden's office.
Back before she arrived at the fortress, she gasped in horror at the sight of thick smoke billowing from the direction of the fortress. Soldiers were running around in panic, searching for any intruder.
She wondered what had happened and if there was a fire or an attack. She hoped that her sister was safe and not in any trouble.
She ran towards the smoke, hoping to find out what was going on. She was shocked and dismayed when she realized that it was her room that was burning. Everything inside was reduced to ashes and cinders by the flames.
She felt a surge of sadness and anger as she saw her belongings destroyed. She had many precious things in her room, such as books, clothes, jewelry, and gifts from her clients.
She thought at that time, 'Oh no, did one of my magic items explode?' She had a lot of magic items in her room, some of them were experimental and unstable. She had been working on them for a long time and had put a lot of effort into them. She was proud of her creations and wanted to share them with the world.
But the trace of magic was very different from what she expected, it had the same residue as her magic pill that was still in the experimentation stage.
She had developed a magic pill that could be used by anyone, enabling them to have magical abilities temporarily, but it had some side effects and risks. She had not perfected it yet and had kept it in a secure place in her workshop.
Sennaida realized that the culprit behind the explosion was none other than her own sister. She had never kept any of the magic pills in her room, especially not the ones that produced fire. Those were exclusively reserved for her sister, who had a passion for pyrotechnics.
Her sister had always been fascinated by fire magic, and had amassed a collection of fire magic pills that Sennaida had crafted for her. She had pleaded with Sennaida to make more, offering her various rewards and incentives.
After all, her sister loved the color of red, and had aspired to be a fire magician since she was little.
She had dreamed of manipulating flames and creating dazzling displays with them. She had sought to learn fire magic from various sources, such as books, teachers, and mentors, but she had failed.
Sennaida felt some of her anger dissipate as she understood her sister's discontent and frustration.
She stood at the doorway of her sister's office, unsure of what to do next.
She was overwhelmed by a mix of emotions: confusion, worry, regret, and curiosity. She wanted to trust that her sister hadn't done this on purpose. She wanted to know what had motivated her sister to use the magic pills in such a reckless way, instead of confiding in her.
She couldn't believe that her sister would burn her room just because she refused to wear cute clothes and dresses. She didn't understand why her sister insisted on wearing mature clothes that didn't match her.
All she wished for was to see her smile again, like they used to when they were happy and carefree.
Sennaida had a secret plan to make her sister wear something cute. She had filled her wardrobe with adorable dresses, some of them even in red, her sister's favorite color. She thought they would enhance her sister's beauty and charm.
She had also worn some of the dresses herself, hoping to catch her sister's attention and interest. Maybe her sister would ask to borrow one, or even better, try one on.
She had even changed her curtains to red, to match her sister's preference.
It seemed to work, as her sister always visited her room whenever she came over. Sometimes, she even sniffed her pillows, as if she liked Sennaida's scent. But she never opened the wardrobe, where Sennaida had stored all the cute clothes that she had bought for her.
Every cute dress, undergarment and underwear that Sennaida had bought was meant for her sister. Sennaida had never worn the panties or the cute lingerie; they were pristine and untouched. She had carefully selected them according to her sister's size and considered different designs so that she could have various options.
She hoped that one day her sister would find them captivating and maybe even show them to her, letting her see how she looked in those cute outfits. She wanted to compliment and praise her sister and see how she would react.
All she wanted was for her sister to embrace cuteness. She remembered how her sister used to wear cute dresses before she came of age, and how she looked like the most beautiful girl in the world. She wanted to see that girl again, the one who smiled so sweetly and innocently.
That was also why she kept cute things around, and even wore them herself, even though they didn't suit her mature face. She wanted to match with her sister and create a contrast between their appearances. She wanted to show her sister that being cute was not a bad thing, and that it could be fun and enjoyable.
But it seems that her sister had other ideas, and that she had decided to express her displeasure in a very drastic way.
She had even used one of the fire magic pills that Sennaida had made for her to ignite her room, reducing everything in it to ashes. She had not cared about the consequences or the feelings of Sennaida.
She sighed and gave up on her dream.
With firm resolution, she opened the door of her sister's office. Her sister was waiting for her and greeted her with a frosty expression. Then she turned away and looked at her desk, avoiding Sennaida's gaze.
Sennaida didn't notice the faint blush on her sister's ear as she was focused on how to apologize for forcing her and driving her to such a point that she wanted to destroy everything. She felt sorry for her sister and wanted to reconcile with her.
