Chapter 233 - Blood, Tears, and Past

Gilgamesh was absolutely dominant in his descent to the underworld known in this realm, leaving everyone speechless. In this world, he was a powerful and invincible being; no one could stand against him, and he was completely sure of that.

One had to know that the celestial restrictions he had in his previous life had ceased to exist in this world, so it was normal for him to be much stronger than before by difference. Being unrelated to any God, he could even aspire to cease being human and become an invincible being in the unknown universes.

"Legend has it that when the trumpets sound in the sky, everyone, as humans, must repent and worship life without exception," said Gilgamesh as he held a massive hammer in his right hand and looked at that energy with vicious eyes.

"You are truly unrestrained. Aren't you worried about not being able to return alive?" asked a voice coming from the depths of the west.

"If you enter here, we will never let you return. Haven't you realized that you are challenging all creations for the ancient? You are merely human. Have you ever felt what the world is?" At that moment, a cold and ancient voice resonated like thunder in the underworld. "Do you really think you are invincible in this world?"

Just before Gilgamesh could respond, the undead behind him, especially those without their own consciousness, attacked him from behind. But at that moment, the heavenly chains pierced through the chest of all the undead without exception.

"Insects remain insects," proclaimed Gilgamesh without looking back.

"You will be punished for eliminating the guardians of the gate," one of the undead who had not taken action whispered to Gilgamesh, immersed in his thoughts, warning him that even real dragons could not survive here.

At that moment, six figures appeared at the entrance to the underworld, floating in the air. From the perspective of a normal human, these beings should be very powerful, especially when they are together. They seemed to take a too rustic combat stance, preparing for an imminent battle as they fixed their gaze on Gilgamesh, who stood proudly in front of them.

Gilgamesh had seen similar combat formations in his previous life. Of course, the things he could experience by fighting them were something extremely special.

But after all, they were nothing special, so he told them, "Even if you can subdue the strongest in this world, you will never be a match for me."

Gilgamesh's reaction left many conscious undead speechless. It seemed as if there was no one in this world that he would not mock.

"Have you really challenged the authority in the underworld?" The six silhouettes stirred, and their eyes shone intensely as they prepared.

No wonder these silhouettes wanted to kill Gilgamesh; after all, he had previously eliminated many undead.

"For insulting the dominion of this place, you must pay a great price. It's not too late to kneel and ask for forgiveness. Maybe then we can forgive your life, take you and punish you as it should be for years before letting you go."

At that moment, all the beings on the verge of death and those totally part of it looked at Gilgamesh with a chilling resentment running through their bodies.

The words of one of those beings were justified after knowing everything Gilgamesh had done. He was here just to cause trouble, so it was natural that he should be punished, and surely he should be buried in this place.

Gilgamesh then smiled and said, "It's not difficult for me to leave this place. Just take me to the most powerful being here to eliminate him personally and seal this place to erase it altogether."

At that moment, something seemed to change in the air. Many were living in anger because they had never expected an unknown man to dare to say that even with the protection of strong and invincible beings.

"Lords Guardians, why waste words on him? Just capture him!" One of the undead pointed angrily, "Let him understand that there is only death for provoking the prestige of our realm!"

At that moment, a living being with wings on its back rose above Gilgamesh and shouted, "You will be killed and serve as an example for anyone who wants to unveil the secrets of this place."

"His talk is full of stench!" Gilgamesh pronounced a long roar with his growing blood energy. He moved his two hands downward with immeasurable power.

"Then die!" One of the silhouettes holding a red orb activated it and moved towards Gilgamesh.

BOOM!

At this moment, with a single punch from Gilgamesh, the mountains around disintegrated, and a powerful wind rose into the sky. However, this simple display of power did not seem to harm the silhouettes that had come out after killing the first-named guardians.

Before Gilgamesh, the six silhouettes moved and appeared over the head of the first silhouette to face him. The aura they were releasing was very similar to a giant iron mountain falling to the earth with the intention of destroying everything.

Gilgamesh smiled and descended to the ground, which was completely flat due to his first impact that completely eliminated all the undead in the surroundings. Under the ground, numerous gigantic ripples appeared, and from them, giant swords emerged pointing towards the sky.

The entire air seemed to feel the power of the attacks, so when these two collided, he was sure that more than one continent would feel it.

There were seven silhouettes in total in the sky; all of them had released their aura materializing a mountain descending towards where Gilgamesh was, stirring the air and generating a noise similar to that of a giant.

This attack completely defied all understanding of the world, thus suppressing the aura that Gilgamesh had casually released.

Trapped at the bottom of this attack, Gilgamesh strangely smiled.

"Even if you use giant swords, you won't be able to withstand our attack!" At this point, the sound of an ancient voice resonated from the sky. His voice was extremely dominant.

After his voice descended, a huge fist that covered the sky pointed towards Gilgamesh before the mountain.

"Hahaha!" Gilgamesh's arrogant laughter resonated like thunder, and the swords that slowly emerged from the ripples were shot at a speed faster than light; the large swords could easily split a mountain, so eliminating his enemies was a breeze.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In just moments, he had been able to break the mountain; the huge pieces descended from the sky, and Gilgamesh then moved.

If Gilgamesh's power could split a mountain, then any physical attack would be absolutely nothing to him. Compared to the strength of a mountain, he could unleash the force of a world.

Crack!

At that moment, space broke, and a huge mantle descended from his side, so this time Gilgamesh switched from attacking to defending. His left hand extended to his side to receive that imminent attack. At that moment, after receiving the blow, the sound of a crack was heard, and a huge crack formed in the ground.

Boom!

But at that instant, Gilgamesh, who had retreated with the help of the huge fist, smiled coldly and attacked again as if he had not been hurt.

At this point, the space broke again, and a bony hand attacked Gilgamesh as if somehow it wanted to prevent him from entering the underworld. This time, Gilgamesh endured a greater force; his bones exerted half of his strength, which was something surprising.

At that moment, Gilgamesh's expression was serious. Even with a complete explosive effort of his power, it was still not enough to stop these fists, so immediately the heavenly chains were used.

"Hahaha!" Gilgamesh seemed to mock while the chains wrapped around those arms, and Gilgamesh's eyes visualized the silhouettes on the other side.

Giants!

Undead Giants!

"This is fun; I'll open your eyes... Come to me, EA!"
