Chapter 209 - Two New Servants

After Gilgamesh felt comfortable in a closed and quiet environment, Roxy brought some interesting news from outside that he surely wanted to hear. "The Uruk Tower sent news; my letters arrived, and there was an immediate response. Also, many renowned figures have arrived in this city."

"Well, I'm planning to go to the cemetery once more." Gilgamesh nodded and said slowly.

"Are we going into the cemetery again?" Eris, who was teaching some fencing manuals to Delia and Alba, suddenly looked at Gilgamesh upon hearing this.

"We will go! Why wouldn't we?" Gilgamesh smiled and said, "We will explore that special place deep in the forest because it would be interesting to observe some more things before destroying everything. It may not be very interesting, but there are certainly good treasures that I wouldn't mind having in my warehouse."

Hearing Gilgamesh's words, the two great beauties, Eris and Roxy, couldn't help but look at each other. When did they agree to destroy the entire cemetery? Only very few people in the world would think that way.

"How are things with the bigger influences?" Gilgamesh asked casually.

Roxy shook her head and said, "I don't know the exact details. According to our information sources, many of the major influences are gathering. However, none will move again until the ship fully appears over the expected area."

"It seems like all those foxes are very clever. They move with practically little security, which makes me somewhat bored, thinking that I would find someone at least decent. I guess we should focus on other things." Gilgamesh understood the mindset of many major influences; surviving within the cemetery is complicated, and there are few benefits in risking that way.

The so-called powerful beings were not willing to die for a trivial mistake of their arrogance. The moment the ship appears, everyone will have easy access to the forest, and each will head to certain places with unknown motives. The more they think and plan their moves, the more chances they have of surviving.

"In theory, we still have time before the ship fully appears; we'll take a short break before entering the cemetery again on our own. Once we finish our affairs, we will join the rest." Gilgamesh said with a slight smile as he looked at the twin sisters who were actually a bit clumsy.

Although Gilgamesh said this, hinting at taking a break, he prepared blood rituals for those twins and selected suitable weapons for them. He handed one a pair of reinforced gloves and the other a massive hammer.

While they had their blood ritual, Gilgamesh checked the progress of the seed that would bear fruits of immortality, and a small tree had grown in less than a year. The tree was beautiful, and there were about five sprouts, meaning it would yield five immortal fruits for him to use.

Without proper guidance to care for this tree of immortal fruits, he had to be very careful not to damage them and be attentive most of the time to avoid any mishaps. The life essence poured into the immortal fruits gave them an alarmingly fast growth rate.

At that moment, Gilgamesh was overseeing the growth of the future of his immortal fruits while drinking wine; Roxy was beside him reading new books on magic while stroking his hair, and as for Eris, she was taking care of her two new friends...

Something strange was happening, so Gilgamesh wasn't interested in intervening.

"Do you know anything about the beast race to which those twins belong?" Gilgamesh asked a bit interested, recalling the strength of that guardian who was slightly surprising in height but would be a formidable opponent for anyone else.

"Beast wolves live like wolves in a pack, and the strongest in the pack is the leader. The stronger members of the wolves, as authority, have many concubines and, as a result, have many offspring," Roxy told him, recalling that rare race that is hard to find nowadays.

"That's why they are so beautiful, and the same reason their father didn't care about them... Regrettable, but it's completely understandable. If we look at it objectively, they probably didn't hold much value in the tribe or clan they belonged to, maybe that's why they were abandoned."

Although Gilgamesh spoke these somewhat cruel words, his gaze focused on the future, and he murmured, "But by our side, they will be more than just strong. I suppose they will grow with a new education. We should prepare; maybe we can practice with them for when we have children, Roxy..."

"Yes..." Roxy nodded slightly without thinking too much about it.

"Although it would be better when the fruits of immortality are ready, only then will our descendants have the ability of immortality, perhaps not as strong, but certainly living for hundreds of thousands of years," Gilgamesh said, slightly pensive.

Roxy, on the other hand, thought, "Would they live that long? What would happen to the world? That way, she would be a goddess in every sense, something she had never thought about before."

She had undergone many changes beside Gilgamesh; her temperament and nobility had awakened stronger than ever within her, and a certain air of arrogance was expressed in each of her movements. This attitude might be due to Gilgamesh's influence, but now she was increasingly exuding a mature and charming air.
