Chapter 135 - Inside

After continuing to advance at a moderate pace, various creatures of different appearances appeared in the air, trying to keep up with the Vimana.

The roars of the monsters grew louder and louder, coming dangerously close to Gilgamesh's group.

"These wretched creatures have no value; they're not even fit to feed my cat." Surrounded by flying beasts, Gilgamesh continued to advance without any issues.

Rrroooaaarrrr!

The response to Gilgamesh was absolute ferocity, to which he said, "Roxy, do you want to try your new magic staff and the affinity of your spells? I'm sure these creatures will make good targets. You can give it a try."

Roxy didn't hesitate and stood up. Gilgamesh, who was controlling the Vimana, positioned it perfectly for her to have a clear shot and said, "Try shortening the incantations; your magical sensitivity should now allow you to cast spells without chanting the full incantation if you concentrate."

"Water Ball!" Roxy murmured while pointing her staff at one of the flying creatures.

Boom!

The initial impact was swift, significant, and highly destructive, even sending the other creatures flying backward from the shockwave. With an excited smile, Roxy used a more potent water spell, creating water spears. The magic focused its power, and without showing any mercy, each spear struck the flying creatures, killing them relatively easily. Not only did it not deplete her mana, but the spell was ten times more powerful than she had intended.

Roar!

Smelling the fresh blood, a larger ant-like creature quickly emerged, heading toward Gilgamesh and the others. However, before it could get close, a powerful fireball detonated it.

"Faster and stronger!" Roxy shouted as dozens of water attacks swept away the approaching creatures, eliminating them one by one with relative ease.

"Brilliant Thunder!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The impacts were devastating, all manipulated perfectly by Roxy, who now seemed capable of anything as long as it involved magic.

Some fireballs struck down monsters that only sought to kill them, while her earth spells manipulated the ground to deal with terrestrial enemies.

However, no matter how destructive her attacks were, she still needed to learn and improve old spells now that she had the power to do so. Talent was needed, but a high mana density, not to mention sensitivity, was also crucial.

Boom!

As the last nearby enemy was eliminated, Roxy, breathing heavily, surveyed the destruction she had caused and felt a certain fear. Did she do all that by herself? In just a few days, her strength had increased so much that she could no longer be compared to ordinary people.

However, as the smell of blood permeated the surroundings even faster, more creatures rushed to arrive, as if seeking an opportunity to enjoy something delicious.

"Well done, Roxy. We should land and train as a group!" Gilgamesh said as he descended on his Vimana, seeing that Eris also wanted to test her new strength.

As they separated into three different locations but covering each other's backs, Gilgamesh drew two swords from the Gate of Babylon. With a sweeping motion of his sword, he unleashed a series of incredibly lethal attacks, clearing everything in front of them.

"Let me show off this time!"

With those words, Gilgamesh wielded his swords, and the shadow of the blades slicing through the sky cut a massive creature that was heading their way in half. A sudden rain of blood bathed the three of them, fighting with smiles on their faces.

Gilgamesh, Eris, and Roxy fought like mad, brandishing their swords and eliminating the aggressive beasts that came towards them. Not long after, there were piles of corpses, and the stench of blood filled the air, making Gilgamesh frown.

As more groups of creatures headed their way, Gilgamesh opened over fifty golden ripples from which dozens of swords shot out like arrows, aimed at the incoming enemies.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Deafening explosions rocked the earth and raised dust clouds. Gilgamesh's attacks were truly brutal, mass-killing all formidable creatures that approached them like rabid hounds.

Even though the beasts' skin was incredibly tough, it was no match for Gilgamesh's powerful attacks. In a short period, their group had killed so many formidable creatures that they lost count.

Roarrrrr!

Finally, a monarch leading this area revealed its formidable body. It was like a giant, covered in a thick fur of beasts, and its body was entirely made of stone.

"That one is bigger!" Gilgamesh said, who looked fierce, as if she were a blood-stained war goddess.

Roxy, on the other hand, had a divine look, with blue marks on her body due to blood mutation, appearing like a water goddess. Both formidable-looking women stood on either side of Gilgamesh, ready to attack at any moment.

"I've got this!" Gilgamesh stepped forward, and his hair fluttered as his power condensed around him.

Though this was a genuine giant of stone, thousands of meters tall, it could only be destroyed under Gilgamesh's ferocious attacks. There was no mercy in his actions.

Boom!

With a powerful swift strike, the giant's head fell to the ground. Without stopping, Gilgamesh appeared in front of the stone giant and, using the threads of his swords, began to dismember the giant at an astonishing speed.

Surprisingly, red blood flowed from the cracks in the giant, staining Gilgamesh's body, making him wonder what he was actually attacking. In his world, stone giants didn't bleed, but for some reason, this one did.

"These creatures are corrupted by a demonic beast. They are not usually this aggressive, let alone territorial. It's likely that something is controlling them to attack us," Gilgamesh explained as he sent his wives back to his treasury and observed the fallen stone giant.
