"Your majesty are you sure this is a good Idea?", A familiar maid asked as she stepped out of the dark mist that manifested itself within creation, enjoying the view of the wide forest she found before her.
"Why not? The other four are still busy to find a way to travel through the Abyss, so in case of an emergency all four of them are still inside the Void.", Her creator replied with a smile on his face as he continued, "Also I'm not the type to rot inside his castle and just watch from behind."
"I know that you're hiding something from me your majesty.", Following Nyarlathotep's words silence conquered their conversation before her creator continued.
"Maybe I do. But so do you, 'Queen of Lies'.", Hearing those words the maid remained silent as she couldn't form any words, leaving the Sultan unaware of the false truth he believed in, "Anyways! Yet is the perfect time to go sightseeing!"
Hearing that the maid tilted her head slightly to the right as she wondered what her master meant.
"A grim dark future is waiting to be released any second~ Treachery, Hatred, Rage, destruction, War, and Death~ All of it only waits to be released upon all of creation~ And who other is more qualified to release them than me!"
Immediately after these words left the Sultan's mouth, the maid found herself in front an empty battlefield. The silent sound of dead dreams swam through the air as the smell of death and rot infiltrated her nose, distracting her from the hand of her master that held onto hers.
"I guess I went a little too far... Was it on the other way around?", The Sultan said, letting go of his servant's hand as he walked through the battlefield, only to stop after a couple steps as his servant started speaking.
"Your majesty... What has happened here?"
"Good question... I lost the ability to see all of creation the moment I chose to free the Void, so I don't really know... But I guess the elves tried to unite themselves like humanity did. But as you can see, they failed miserably."
"I see... But isn't this a good opportunity? Maybe we can find a few survivors and corrupt them!"
"...Maybe... Another time....", The Sultan replied losing his smile for the first time in a while.
"Well... As you wish...", The maid said confused by her master's decision.
"But say Nyarlathotep, how do you feel?"
"How I feel? Like I always, I guess. Why?"
"I was just curious...", Averting his gaze, the Sultan started to smile again as an idea struck his mind, "How about we visit the capital city?"
"Capital city? Your majesty... Where are we?"
"Oh! You didn't know? Were in Alfheim."
"Alfheim?! Isn't it too dangerous here!!"
"Not really. The gods are too busy preparing themselves for a war at the frontlines, so they don't even think of looking in-between their realms."
"It still sounds like a bad idea..."
"You worry too much. Trust me once your inside you will forget all your worries!"
"Have you ever been in the capital before, your majesty?"
"No. But I saw it multiple times as I watched from outside and I want to see it with my own eyes now where I can!"
"Hm... I guess it's fine then..."
"Nice!", Grabbing the hand of his servant, the Sultan didn't want to waste a single second and immediately shot himself up in the sky before shooting himself towards the capital city, dragging his servant with him.
Witnessing the power her creator still possessed after creating them left the maid in awe as she watched the terrain below them change with each second that passed, only to stop mere second after as her creator spoke up.
"Here we are! The Capital of Alfheim, Helios the city of light!"
Opening her eyes, the maid witnessed a sight she wouldn't find a second time. A city blooming with life, with streets filled with people and happiness as far as the eye can reach. It was a paradise which became one with nature, proved by the giant tree in the middle of the city that worked as royal castle for those in command and symbol of their highest goddess.
"The Tree is still shining like on the day it was birthed, now wonder it's still called 'The everlasting Tree'."
"Your majesty, what is your plan?"
"Enjoying myself, didn't I say that already? I heard the beer here is really good!", The Sultan replied, throwing the maid up in the air as he landed inside an alley, catching his servant with both arms before she would meet the ground, "Don't you want to enjoy yourself too?"
"Well... I don't really need to... But as your servant I have to make your time here as enjoyable as possible!"
"Nicely said!", The god said letting his servant down as he smiled at her, "Then our cover for the time being will be a freshly married couple!"
"Wha--"
"With this, we will be able to enter all stores!"
"Ah... I see..."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing... I hope you enjoy yourself, your majesty."
"Ah~ I see~ Don't worry~ As deity of Chaos I'm also the God of pleasure and excess~ If you are a good bride today, Then I would be ready to fulfill this desire you just had a second ago~"
"Huh?! Your majesty! How did you--"
"Indulging yourself in your feelings is also a way to worship chaos~"
Hearing that the Maid hesitated a second before she wrapped herself around her master's arm, smiling at him as she changed into a revealing black dress, "Then I guess I have no other chance than to follow your lead and make this day worthy enough to be rewarded~"
Hearing her reply the Deity smiled as he walked out of the alley, turning his black robe into a nice black suit as he did so, "This should go with your outfit~ Well then where should we go first..."
"How about this store!"
"Hm?", Turning towards his bride's desired location the deity froze as he saw the store, "A blacksmith?"
"Yes! I want to create myself an avatar clad in a beautiful armor and-", The bride suddenly stopped as she remembered her position and immediately looked up to her creator, "We don't have to of course! You're still the--"
"No, it's fine. Seeing this new side of you is quite enjoyable. Also... I always wanted to see a blacksmith from the inside, the heroes I watched always got their weapons or amors from their kingdom or in dungeons, so I never got to see one."
"Really!!!", Nyarlathotep asked again, shining with pure happiness that even started to blind her creator.
"Yes, just stop beaming and start seeing."
"Yes!", The bride replied as she took her husband's arm, dragging him inside the store of metal.
Arrived inside the deities' eyes opened as they witnessed the sight of countless armors and weapons, all perfectly lined up in a line, allowing Nyarlathotep to jumped from armor to armor leaving her husband behind as she did so.
But as the Sultan kept admiring the sheer beauty of these armors, he suddenly moved closer to a particular one, "These armors are--"
"Incredible!!! Right? Right??", Cutting the Sultan of midsentence was an elf wrapped in an expensive suit and golden rings, appearing right beside the supreme deity as he noticed new customers.
"Well... Indeed."
"You really have a sharp eye! These armors are my best works and currently the number one topic of conversations! There is no better time than buying one now!!"
"Really?"
"Yes!!! But my, my look at you sir! Your quite beautiful yourself! This ash-white hair and this well-trained body paired with this charming face! You sure need an armor as flashy as yourself!!"
"I think you're exaggerating sir, there are many people that look at least as good as I do."
"These creatures you're talking about must be gods!"
"Well..."
"Seeing a person like you is a rarity, even among us!! Please don't lower yourself like that! However... Are you a celebrity? I think I've seen your face somewhere before..."
"No, I'm not. But I heard something similar a couple days ago~"
"I see..."
"You're quite lively sir... What are those armors made of?"
"Ehm... Which one?"
"Of course, the one I was looking at."
"Ah! This one is made of mithril!"
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Huh? Of course! I would never-" The man suddenly stopped as he remained silent for a second, "Forgive me sir! I recently sold a similar one which was made of mithril, this one here is made of holy ingot."
"Holy Ingot?"
"Yes! It's metal found in the holy sea of Helia which absorbed the sea's holy energy inside of it. Its full potential is still unknown and there are only a handful of armors and weapons made of them, but according to our priestess this metal is blessed by the gods themselves and will play a major role in the future!"
"Interesting..."
"Currently even the humans try to get their dirty fingers on them but still fail to get them."
"I see. Then I should come again soon and make sure to get a couple."
Stopping his conversation at this point the Sultan grabbed his bride and walked out.
"See you next time sir!", The man quickly replied as he watched his customer leave.
"Your majest- Ehm... Dearest! Why did we have to go so soon? I finally found a matching pair of gloves..."
"Just so."
"Well... Can we go to another one then?"
"Of course. There should--"
"Bring the next ones!!!"
Stopping mid-sentence, the Sultan turned to the right.
"Your- Dearest? What's wrong?"
"A mass of people seems to have gathered themselves around something... Let's take a look.", Following his desire, the couple walked inside the mass, surrounding themselves with elves as they finally found the reason of the gathering.
It was a platform filled with a line of multiple captured humans each having a rope bound around their neck while two elf soldiers stood next to the line of humans.
"It looks like the empress has again captured a big one... It's the fifth execution today...", a soldier standing beside the Sultan stated as he watched the humans end, only to feel a hand grabbing his shoulder shortly after, filling him with a glimpse of pleasure beyond comprehension.
But the moment the broken soldier turned around to beg for more his ears were attacked with a question, "Could you maybe tell me more, child of Gaia~"
