I remember vividly, the day I was nearly killed by my family members. That very day, I wasn't able to stop them from killing her.
The woman who had stood by me even when no one else did. The one who accepted me for who I was.
And yet, they had killed her, before I could stop them. They had burnt her to death.
Did they all hate me that much? To the point of snatching the love of my life from me.
I run as fast as I can to a green clearing. They had burnt her here, five days ago. I fall on my knees feeling weak and.... my magic...
It was becoming difficult for me to breathe. What was happening to me?
I cough with a hand against my belly, I use a hand to cover my mouth. And when I lower it, what I see is blood.
Blood?
I place a hand on the floor, to try and support my body. Trying my best to keep my eyes open.
There is a movement from my side. Was it a shadow or...
"how are you enjoying our little gift, brother?" I look up, and my heart shatters.
"Leo" I say with a grunt, more blood dripping from my lips.
He gives me an evil smirk. "I was wondering when you'll drop dead." he said, and I try my best to keep my head up.
My visions slowly turn fazed and blurry. "Very funny Leo." I hear another of my brother say. "very funny." he said, now within the range of my view.
It was Luwian and Lantheer was close behind him. A smug look appeared on their faces as they saw the situation I was in.
"how about we beat him up to seal the deal?" Lantheer suggests. Luwian instantly adds, "sounds fun."
Leo stares at me for a while longer with pure hatred in his eyes before he finally faces our brothers.
"He does deserve it." He replies his back to me.
I clutch my fist in anger. "You won't get away with this I tell you." I manage to out from my lips.
"shut up. Threaten us when you reach heaven, okay?" Lantheer says with venom as he kicks me in the ribs. I fall hard to the side.
Once they were sure they had finished me, they left. Leaving me to die.

Luna remains speechless beside me.
"your brothers are cruel." she says after a long and brief silence. Still, I don't reply.
"was that how they had tried to kill you?" She asked, she didn't need to add the last part. I already got the message.
I still don't turn around to face her as I reply, "that's only half of it."
