The air was filled with a gentle, melodic hum as if this was a sacred place. The bottom was filled with large roots expanding all over the hall.
Walls and ceilings were covered in vines and branches, all covered in green and yellow leaves.
As they approached, a tree appeared before them; it was not tall but also could not be said short. Ceiling over, it was broken from which its branches were moving outside.
It had large brown vines with blue flowers dropping down from it; Branches were covered in green leaves while the tree was brown and red.
It looked beautiful; before it was the small trunk of another tree; it looked thicker than this tree and was covered in strange scales-like patterns.
The trunk was one and a half meters tall, It was thicker at the top while narrow toward the bottom. As they approached it, they saw it was ebony with red colored patterns.
As they approached it, they felt that the atmosphere had become a little colder; they followed behind the leading teacher like young ducklings behind the mama Duck.
They could see slight mist releasing from the chopped trunk, making it appear mysterious and ethereal.
Its scent was both sweet and slightly spicy, carrying with it a hint of magic. It's a scent that's said to only bloom under the full moon's light, making it even more enchanting and rare.
The man leading them with a book in one hand and a pen in the other halted his steps. Looking at the five students before him.
Each droplet cascades into a pool of liquid glass, and as they touch the surface, they create ripples that sparkle with a myriad of colors.
"Students, this the 'Prismatic truth well,' this is a very limited and mysterious resource. This well will tell you about your Advanced Prana type."
"It also has other magical properties, like it can clean your body and increase your Aura."
A bright expression appeared on the faces of all the young demons; they were all excited for it.
"First, let me explain to you all about the types of Prana; as you all know that the Prana is of different types. Each type can be used in a certain way."
"Some can use their Prana to increase their strength while some are able to use it to create something."
The other four nodded while Amon paid attention; he was the only person here who didn't know much about it.
"Prana is divided into four sub-types; each is different from each other and serves a different purpose. All users can use some basic abilities by working hard."
"These basic abilities are Sense, Flow, Conceal, Transfer and Heal."
Others nodded their head, Amon raised his brows. He never thought that Prana could also be used to conceal, this was new for him. Others were what he had already discovered.
"Now, the important part, other than these every Prana user is proficient in one or two of the Prana Types."
"These abilities are:"
"Vadh(Enforce): The ability to amplify the strength of an object, body or Spell."
"Samana(Construct): Ability to create objects or creatures from Prana."
All were surprised as they had not known anyone who could do something like that.
"Apana(Regulate): Ability to control Prana outside your body."
"Udana(Imitate): Ability to mutate Prana to imitate color, smell, element or temperature."
The teacher had just finished when one student asked, "Sir, I have heard there is a fifth type of Prana Ability."
"Forget about it; you must master two advanced Prana types before even thinking about it. When you reach that stage, you will be able to know more about it."
Amon's eyes shone brightly; he had learned a lot about Prana. He could have never known Prana could be used to do such things.
"Demons are mostly restricted to a particular Prana Types. It's very rare for a Demon to have a different Prana type from his family."
The faces of many students fell; this was something sad as they had no chance to have a different type of Prana Type.
"No need to feel sad, while it is a disadvantage. This is also the reason why each family has been able to craft techniques which anyone in the family can use."
He then turned toward the trunk and approached it; as they approached it, they saw that there was clear water flowing inside the chopped trunk.
Bubbles constantly formed in it; the water inside was the clearest Amon had ever seen.
With a smile, the teacher took out a dark-colored wooden cup, covered in beautiful red crystals.
He turned and looked at the students, "You all will now come and insert your Prana inside this cup before filling it with the water from the well."
"Each one of you will only get one try, so be careful; who will come first?" he asked.
One of the students raised his hand; It was an Imp. It took the cup and ejected it with his red Prana Energy.
After doing it, he carefully approached the well and tried to fill it; small ripples appeared on the well.
It took out the cup after some time; It was 40% filled. He wanted to try again when he heard, "Only one try, and even if you tried, it's useless. It will become lesser than that."
The Imp bit its lips slightly, before deciding not to take risk. He took a sip; it separated the cup from his face, and a disgusted expression appeared on it.
He looked at the teacher, "It's bitter."
The teacher nodded and smiled, "Congratulations, your Prana is of Apana(Regulate) type."
"Finish it quickly," he added.
With a sad expression, the Imp finished the full cup.
"Good now cover it with your Prana and try to fill the cup again."
The student tried again; he surrounded the cup with his Prana before taking a small breath.
He tried again, his heart beating faster and faster. The moment he pulled it out, the cup was only 20% filled, but there was a smile on his face.
He looked at the teacher before retaking a sip, his expression was again not good. "It's Salty"
"Your second Prana type is Udana(Imitate); try last time to test your luck."
Imp tried one last time; he tried his best this time to pour all of his Prana. His heartbeat started running a marathon as he tried to fill his cup again.
He took it out with his eyes closed; the moment he opened them, he saw it was empty. He sighed; he already knew it from the weight but was still hoping for a little water.
The teacher was expressionless, "Alright, who will go second."
