Chapter 5 - The Hell & Its Hell Prince

Hell, that merciless and unforgiving domain, existed as a realm reserved for souls tainted by the indelible mark of sin. In this dark abyss, demons reigned supreme, and the souls that found themselves here were not beings of redemption but mere currency—valuable commodities to be collected and traded, a means for the denizens of this infernal realm to accrue power.

One might wonder about the nature of "sins" in this malevolent dominion. Here, there were seven demons, known collectively as the Sins, who bore the ominous responsibility of gathering souls. The more wicked and depraved the soul, the greater the power it bestowed upon its demonic captor. The Sins, each embodying a different facet of human transgression, wielded their dark influence over the souls that crossed their paths.

Each Sin, in turn, commanded an army of demons, among whom were the worker demons tasked with ferrying banished souls from Heaven to Hell. The stringent purity requirements of Heaven had rendered many souls unfit for its gates, a flaw that ultimately contributed to the potential downfall of the divine realm.

Curiously, despite Hell's bountiful supply of souls and the immense power at their disposal, the demons did not unite in a malevolent pact to overthrow the celestial dominion of Heaven. The reason for this apparent restraint was deceptively simple: demons were not immortal, and their power, as well as their very existence, derived from the souls they possessed. Anarchy within their own ranks was the last thing they desired, as it would risk their own obliteration.

Yet, amidst this tumultuous hierarchy of demons, there existed one supreme monarch, the embodiment of malevolence and darkness. He bore many titles—some whispered in fear, others proclaimed in self-proclaimed grandeur—but his preferred appellation was "The Hell Prince."

The Hell Prince, whose true name was Lizen, held dominion over Hell itself. He devoured the lion's share of the souls brought in by the Sins, holding absolute authority over this malevolent realm. Even the Sins, formidable and wicked as they were, dared not challenge his rule; they were malicious, but they were not foolish. The remaining souls, a resource both coveted and feared, were allocated throughout the ranks of demonkind according to their infernal hierarchy.

In the depths of Hell, where treachery and malevolence reigned supreme, The Hell Prince Lizen stood as an entity of unparalleled darkness. His ambitions, motives, and the extent of his power were shrouded in a sinister veil of secrecy, casting an ominous shadow over the very essence of this nightmarish realm. As the realms of Heaven and Hell each harbored their own secrets and enigmatic leaders, the balance of power in the cosmic struggle between light and darkness remained as precarious and volatile as ever, poised on the brink of upheaval and revelation.
