As they enter a large hall connected to the schoolgrounds, Dorna is standing in the distance in front of a large group of students whom are dashing back and forth at varying speeds and effectiveness.
''Wasted movement! Poor braking! You spend too much energy on such a low speed!'' she shouts as she walks by students performing the short dashes.
''To this day i will not understand how you 2 were siblings back on earth'' Horu whispers to Baronia.
''Our mother was very strict to her because i grew up too laid back and somewhat lazy, so Dorna was treated with more discipline, resulting in her being-'' Dorna dashes with the sound of thunder to the approaching duo, ''well looks what Horu dragged in, you finally going to get some proper speed training? its about time, come i will teach you a more advanced form of speed stepping'' as she grabs her brother by the collar and he stumbles along with her.
''-UNPLEASANT AT TIMES!'' Baronia yells towards Horu floats along slowly shaking his head with a smile on his face following behind.
''Place your feet slightly apart, dominant foot forward, place your other food to the back.'' she commands as she taps her brothers calf with a staff.
all students and the principal take the pose.
''Now!'' she slams the staff into the floor as she stands in front of the class, ''you will look at the position you want to dash towards. In this case you will lock onto the red line at the other side of the hall.'' as she points towards the line.
She continues walking and explains, ''you will then slightly bend your knees as you channel energy into your legs. When you feel the power circulating through them, you will unleash your energy as you will boost at your chosen direction while NOT looking away from your target location.'' She says while pointing her staff at specific students.
Everyone starts to bend their knees and some are trying to force their energy into their legs but fail, as others are focused on the red line channeling energy as intended.
''Get ready!'' Dorna raises her hand, ''On your marks!'' everyone braces, ''Go!'' 14 students, Baronia among which zoom across the field, some with a lightning like stream signifying their travel.
Dorna smiles with pride looking at the group that made it across the hall, some stopped a bit short of the red line and some went over it. She returns her expression to the usual strict frown as she dashes with a lightning stream to the group that succeeded.
''To those of you that made it onto the red line, congratulations! you have completed your training of this specific technique you may now practice it outside of class in large open spaces.'' She looks over to Baronia with disappointment whom stopped about 3 meters short of the red line.
The disappointed sibling steps towards him shaking her head with her eyes closed, ''no lightning stream, no proper finish, you were the slowest of the bunch and yet you somehow still stopped short of the finish line! your progression has been stagnant for 5 lessons now! you have to do better!''
she scolds her brother, whom is just smiling faintly at his sister nodding his head. The students look at the scolding with sorrow for their beloved principal, Horu just smiles as he watches the siblings.
Horu floats to the students that failed to channel energy into their legs and teaches them how to control their flow better by focusing on their inner circulation and expanding their circuits to allow more energy to flow to their legs at once.
Dorna listens in and observes the students attempting this new approach from behind Horu, more students are able to channel their energy now and repeat the earlier exercise.
Horu gives way for Dorna as he floats to the side of the hall to observe how they perform, ''get ready!'' Dorna raises her hand again, ''on your marks!'' the students get nervous, ''go!''
this time an additional 9 students zoom from their original positions, 4 make it to the red line while 3 get close and 2 stopped halfway through the hall out of fear of overshooting, none with a lightning stream.
Dorna looks towards Horu and nods raising her lower lip, she dashes towards the 2 that made it halfway and praises them for their progression and that with enough practice they will do just as good as the rest of the class.
Continues to dash to the 3 that got close to the line and compliments their first time dashing so close to the target telling them they will surely make it soon, then dashes to the last 4 and high fives all of them cheering them on as they have passed this test.
Baronia dashes with a lightning stream hands in his pockets to Horu when Dorna isn't looking, ''the fact you're not a teacher for the explanations is honestly a big loss on us, look at them! look at the joy on my sisters face seeing them progress!''
''She may be real strict to you, but for her other students she is far more gentle!'' Horu notes, ''hehe she's always been like that in life whenever i was found lacking in a field she excelled at more.'' Baronia chuckles.
''ill be going now, have a good lesson Horu, don't forget about your own duties!'' Baronia says while walking away from him waving him goodbye.
Horu zooms to Dorna, ''i think we will have to give the zooming lesson a try another day.''
Dorna agrees, and they continue teaching the lesson on dashing.
Geron grabs the largest boulder on the training field the size of a schoolbus with 1 hand and flips it before catching it again over and over while explaining ''When you control your hearts speed you increase your energy flow to your entire body which has to be spread evenly in order to be in balance''
''When performing great feats of strength, 1 minor imbalance you see! and you will be crushed under the weight of your objects of choice!'' he says while grabbing another boulder with his free hand, doing shoulder raises with both of them.
''If you practice increasing your heartbeat enough for extended periods of time, your time limit for performing these feats increases! in the beginning you might be able to lift the smallest rock here for some time, and for the first few lessons the size of what you can lift for how long will not be changing much, but once you got the feeling down on how to keep a steady high heartbeat to lift the rock or boulder of choice- he drops the boulders on the ground shaking the ground as students lose balance catch themselves. -your potential will skyrocket!''
Geron smirks, ''ALRIGHT! all of you pick up a rock with 1 hand without increasing your heartbeat and see how long you can hold it with your arm stretched out!'' as he claps his hands.
Students pick up rocks and start holding them stretched out in front of them as lots of students don't last, after the last one drops the rock within a minute Geron gathers them up, ''alright everyone! you now know the feeling without pumping your energy properly.''
''Now you will tense up your torso and flow energy into your heart! the more energy you put in, the faster it beats! for now, you will put in a bit of energy as you keep your eyes closed to FEEL your heartbeat increase''
All students follow his instructions, he explains as he draws his hands to his chest eyes wide open. ''Let any other thoughts go, channel into yourself, feel the inner waves of energy crashing against your heart!'' He passionately explains.
''If done correctly you can sense it beating faster! as it speeds up the pulses of energy created will increase in volume spreading more power into you, which you have to direct to your entire body. Your strength will multiply, stamina for as long as your heart keeps pumping at an increased speed with the energy spread equally through yourself!''
''now!'' he punches his fist into his other hand, ''open your eyes, as a side effect you perceive your surroundings better, sharper and your reaction time will increase! but more importantly for this lesson! pick up...'' as he lifts the heaviest boulder again, ''your rock and hold it out in front of you again!''
the students pick up their rocks of varying sizes and repeat their exercise now with their heartbeats increased. a minute passes and not even 1 rock has been dropped yet, nor does anyone show signs of strain.
Geron gets increasingly proud as he sees his students look in disbelief at their newfound strength, 2 minutes pass, a few start to show fatigue as the rocks feel heavier and their heartbeat slows down. Half of the class dropped their rocks by the 4th minute as the other half comes just short of 5 minutes.
Geron erupts into applause for his class as he praises them after dropping his boulder onto the floor shaking the ground once more. Students fall to their knees as they feel their motivation shoot up thanks to their teachers encouragement.
''Now all of you take a 10 minute rest with your heartbeat in a calm pace, and then you will try again! count to yourselves how long you can last! i will be calling in the teachers on destruction & creation, to help with their class!''
He leaps off the field and walks up to the classroom next to the training field as he knocks on the door, he may come in as he slams open the door and the entire classroom is looking as Geron gazes at Enor. A tall slender figure stands at the end of the room with a book in 1 hand smiling to Geron, ''i take it we are ready for the practicing of destruction then?''
''sure are!'' Geron boasts, ''my class is doing their strength routine.''
''so i can toss those boulders for you now, and catch them in case something goes wrong of course!''
Enor closes his book, ''Excellent!'' as he nods lays it on his desk and shoves his chair under it as he moves towards Geron,
''Alright class! everyone onto the field.'' As he waves them to exit the classroom. ''Those of you that have taken at least 8 classes will be tested with a larger target today! be mindful of the increase in energy output required to destroy your target!''
As the classroom empties, Geron closes the door and walks to the classroom across from destruction to signal the teacher of the creation class, Lonah its time to join on the training field.
He enters the class and leans back against the wall crossing his arms with a smile, where he sees Lonah, a chubby shorter lady with the kindest softest gentle nature in the school.
She is shown to channel energy in her hands and shape it into a bird, glowing feathers of a large variety of colors adorn the bird as it flies across the classroom leaving behind a sparkly trail as it caws with an echo flying towards Geron.
Geron sticks his arm forward and the bird gently lands on it, as he gives it pats on the head with 1 of his giant fingers.
''Her name is Filia! after our lovely healing teacher Milia! And with that my dears! We go outside to re-create the boulders that will be destroyed by Mr. Enor's class! hut hut! everyone outside!'' Lonah excitedly starts strutting towards Geron whom sets the bird on his shoulder as he holds the door open for everyone to exit.
Up to the field as Enor goes over the energy channeling required to perform destruction directly on a location someone looks at for some time, Lonah reminds her students to visualize what they want to create, what the creation will do, behaves like, if its alive or not changes the energy required.
Geron leaps back to his students where none have dropped a rock yet while he was gone, a sparkle of pride shines in his eyes as he picks up a boulder the size of a small car. he readies himself for the signal from Enor whom beckons a student forward and tells her to channel power into her hands.
''Change the nature of the energy to be volatile'' explaining that for now it has to explode on impact.
''The larger or tougher a target is, the longer you have to look at it. Without losing sight of it for even a second or else you have to restart.''
Geron rests the stone on his shoulder as he looks towards the direction he will toss the object.
Lush open green forest with hills protruding outwards and mountains in the distance.
Enor gives his final pointers and sets her in the direction the rock is going to fly, he looks at Geron and raises his arm. taps his student on the shoulder and jerks his hand downwards. Geron throws with brute force as the stone flies over the forest.
the student focuses hard on the target as she slowly puts out her hands, a flash emits from her hands and a second later the rock explodes. direct hit! both destruction & creation classes burst into applauding as Enor claps for his student.
''Good job, Nobesh! that is exactly what you're supposed to do'' as she cheers and hugs her teacher in celebration.
Lonah turns to her class, ''did you take notice of the rock that was just destroyed? take its shape into your head, its weight, density, how it feels & let your energy leak out of your fingers as you let it take shape into your vision!''
the students do as instructed and rocks begin to shape as the energy takes form, while not exactly the same size or form, their weight is roughly equal besides 1 rock which is heavily oversized and misshapen, Geron leaps towards the rock and readies himself for when the creator releases it.
Lonah instructs the student to halt his creation, and when he does the boulder as big as 3 school busses drops onto Geron whom catches it with a bit of strain not anticipating its weight being unequal to its size.
''This is not made out of rock,'' he says in surprise. Lonah struts to Geron and asks if she may study the mysterious new stone. Enor looks on with a puzzled expression as he cannot figure out what material it is and approaches his 2 colleagues.
Geron gently sets the giant dark object down as Lonah lays her hand on it and starts to analyse it with energy pulses to find out its structure. Enor walks up and does the same, Geron looks on with an impatient look as he wants to see how far he can throw it.
Lonah pulls her hand back and looks alarmed but remains calm, Enors expression does not change but his posture changes to be a bit more nervous.
Both look at Geron and Enor requests him to toss it as high and far as he possibly can since he will take it upon himself to blow the creation up.
Geron's eyes light up as he carefully lifts up the newly created target, Lonah walks to the student and asks what he imagined creating this strange dangerous object.
As he sets himself ready everyone's eyes are locked onto him as he leans back gathers up his strength and lifts the structure, he braces with a squat down to his knees stands up starts to run and with a groan he tosses the object diagonally into orbit.
Enor focuses all his energy into his eyes as his pupils get smaller, after 3 seconds a massive explosion goes off in the sky as Enor's eyes return to normal size.
Brace for the shockwave! Enor yells, Lonah gives the signal to her best students to join her and they create an earth dome around the entire school. Geron's students drop their stones as the ground shakes violently. The creation class reinforces it with stone on the outside as Geron jumps in front of Lonah to shield her from falling rubble.
Enor creates a small explosion at an open spot in the training field which erupts into fire lighting up the sky. ''Those of you that have followed more than 5 lessons start channeling your energy into your hands. be ready to destroy falling debris!''
The shockwave hits the dome as chunks of it fall down and the destruction class expertly shoot down the crashing rocks, Lonah loses balance and almost falls over, Geron catches her with 1 hand and returns her to her feet with her focus unbroken.
Students fall over and break their channeling, Lonah is holding it up by herself now with incredible strain, Danoi comes diving from the sky towards Lonah, lands and swiftly lays his hands upon her granting her his energy which she converts into usable fuel for her concentration.
Slowly the earthly dome opens up and backs off from the school returning into the ground. Lonah passes out as she lets go of her focus, Geron catches her once more. and lifts her up to his chest.
Filia flies onto Gerons shoulder again letting out a soft caw.
