Chapter 31 - JUNGLE BEATS

"I hear the drums, they vibrate and resound, Echoing sounds to all the gathered crowd. Women, they dance, wild, shaking their behinds, The rude ones, they danced, as the night unwinds. The floor, it kills the sound with rhythmic beat, Arriving to take me to the hive, complete. Where debts soar high, and companies retreat, To eat and live, the rhythm is so sweet. We danced with joy, not knowing what's at hand, From midnight hours to morning's early strand. Systems deployed, street families in strife, One killed by kings in trigger-happy life.Africa's turning west, a wild, wild land, With thugs and goons, funds shared in the sand. We crown them once, but twice is quite a chore, The vocals turn acoustic, voices soar. The room is blissful, in harmony's sound, I hear the drums, resounding all around."
