Selena was happy.
The reason behind that was, that she got to meet her once again her old friend Jake, someone cared about for a long time.
She and the boy used to go to school when they were young but with her family moving away, gradually they were never able to meet up again. Though they kept in touch using their communicators, that was the extent of it.
It was only a few months ago that she got the chance to meet with him again after a long time. This was only possible as her master was taking her on an outing and the hometown of her friend was along the path.
So, she requested to visit her friend, whom she had not seen for a long time. Her master accepted the request. Usually, her master would be strict but for some reason she accepted. So, the reason behind that didn't matter much to her.
She immediately contacted her friend, and soon they met for the first time in years. They spent some quality time together before she left.
