(Jake's PoV)
Today is no different than any day. I woke up, freshened up and had breakfast before entering Yaros. Once I did, I went out to buy armour as it was damaged on the previous night while returning to New Bastion.
Once I bought armour and a few arrows, they were also running low. Though the arrows are cheaper, they get destroyed more and that means I have to spend much of my earnings on them.
Anyway, once I got the required supplies, I set out of the city to complete the second part of the rank-up quest, to hunt 10 Fire Lizards.
The destination, the place where those Fire Lizards live is quite opposite to Earth Armadillos. I have no idea why that is. Whether it is on purpose or...wait I think that is.
Monsters do have territorial disputes just like humans.
I mean these Fire elemental monsters are located near the volcano, which hasn't erupted in a thousand years or at least that's what the locals say.
