Chapter 23 - The Witness Part 5

He comes in at close range again, and attacks me, and I manage to block his attacks, the difference is that his strikes are much more powerful than before,

I didn't manage to dodge it, was apparently exhausted from attacking, I glanced over to Ayase who was crying and kneeling. I could feel my vision blurring. Finnian took advantage of my distraction and attacked, striking me on my chest, and causing pain and blood to flowing down my arm.

Finnian raised his sword up, ready to stab me, but suddenly, Ayase ran towards Finnian, screaming at him, "No! You can't!"

At first, I thought she was trying to help me somehow, but then she stabbed her knife into Finnian, moreover, the blade went straight through his heart.

Finnian screamed out of pain, "Damn you,", furthermore punched Ayase into the gut. She was knocked back and slid across the ground as Finnian walked toward Ayase and started punching her in the face. Blood flew everywhere, leaving a trail of red behind Finnian as he continued to pummel the girl.

I have the advantaged to lend the final attack on my opponent. My body was weakened, but I still had enough strength to finish him off.

As Finnian was about to punch Ayase, I lunged forward and struck Finnian's shoulder with my sword. The blade pierced through his skin muscle, causing a loud crack of bone.

I heard him scream and fall to his knees, but I was not done. I quickly pulled the sword out of his body, and he fell to the ground.

Blood spelt over my body, cover over my clothes, and my hair.

Ayase was lying on the ground, unconscious, bleeding profusely from her head, and I was covered in Finnian's blood.

I was exhausted, and my body was shaking. I couldn't tap out yet, I still have one more opponent, Draco.

I looked at him, and I saw him staring at me with a look of hatred, "You're dead kid,"

He rushed towards me with his sword, and I was unable to dodge his attack, and his sword sliced my left leg.

I screamed in agony, "You bastard, I'm going to kill you,"

I grabbed his sword and swung it at him, but I missed, And his blade sliced through my hand, leaving a mark right-hand.

Screaming out of Pain, I cried in pain terrified, what to do now, my mother and father, please help me, I don't want to die, My body was trembling, and my eyes were filled with tears.

I could think of any possible meaning to this fight, but I knew that I had to end it, or else I would be killed.

But, again, I remembered, that glowing mark on my right hand was Seth's spiritual mana fusion power, could I tap into it, without a second thought, I closed my eyes, and thought about the flowing of energy, as leaves of the tree blew off, flowing with the wind, wait to be dropped down to earth, with the sun blazing through the world, and the glowing whitish Spiritual Mana was forming,

My feet were on the ground, feeling like what, The glowing with my hand, The Glowing Mana was created, and I was ready to use.

I opened my eyes, and with determined raged over an intense aura, I could feel every means of this fight and over this body, controllable was unlocking, to use the full strength of my inner beast.

Draco stared as never seen something happen," How come, you're still awakening boy!!"

I tried to grab hold of my balance, but blood was kept spelt over a lot, My vision blurred from the pain. As I tried to stand up entirely, but didn't successful in achieving a fully upright position. Instead, I find myself in a slightly tilted or unsteady posture.

The Last Atres fusion could mean a lot in life and death. I will face his doom or my victory, I didn't understand all that I could do and I haven't mastered all my fusion form that could be at stake. I fear that if I make even a single mistake.

Continued, moreover, taking a glance toward Draco, who was in disbelief at what he was seeing. The energy from my right hand increased. I could see the spiritual power manifesting on my arm. The mark was glowing as brightness as the sky, seemingly-over,

What I did was rare, but the strength I was developing, could mean much stronger than ordinary people.

Now is the time, to defeat my foe once and for all.

"Well, Come to my mind, it might be you and me in the ring, I shall remember, your power or face, the consequence of failure," Draco yelled with confidence

I had to admit, I was very intrigued at what I could do, in my spirit fusion

With both hands, I made a striking motion forward. I didn't want to waste time with him. With great concentration, my right-hand imagined it as a blade, that cloud slicing a monster into pieces, the air flowing as it moved, cutting everything that passed its way, with a determined clean slice toward Draco's neck, which was main aimless, As the Energy swirly, everything around, and flying into Draco chest, As I dashed through his chest, and slice the front of his neck, but without acting, Draco was managed to block it with his glowing night dagger, he smirked with great excitement grin, the blow and attack had a surprising impact that it took some effort to stop me, and caused a bit of harm for him.

"Very Impressive, boy." He replied with pride. "You seem to possess greater potential than most. No matter, I'm still going to finish you off. And I'll make sure it'll be painful, and long-lasting."

Fuelled with rage, I decided not to waste any more time talking.

Then, again Draco dashed toward with him a weapon, his dagger held firm, with a malicious gleam in his eye, "I shall end you, young man." His words were icy, and as he grinned with vicious intent, his eyes were filled with determination to finish me off for good.

But, He underestimated what he was getting himself into.

In a single swing, his blade smashed into mine, shattering it like glass, and nearly hitting my face, The night-glowing dagger was at my forehead, and my expression was shaken.

Difficult, to counter it, but eventually, I tripped over, couldn't hold this long balance fighting with my left-leg wounded off, As the kick and the thrust landed perfectly on Draco, and I managed to protect myself by protecting my right shoulder, My feet managed to kick his right hand away. The moment was intense, my strength and his powerful will to win were high and peaked

He got up and threw his dagger, and this time it was thrown accurately towards me. His dagger flew past, striking me, and its tip was in my stomach, Draco had an enormous advantage.

"Even if you use that Spirit energy of yours, You're finished boy," He boomed with excitement

Without the strength, and willpower, I could barely even move. The wound on my chest was open and bleeding. My left arm was shattered, and I had bruises all over my body. I can barely move.

The pain of this battle was received right to left, I felt this immense pain, I got a bruise right on my leg, but I got up, this pain I received was an unforgettable lesson, This was the kind of fight I will always remember, As he lunged out a punch at me, was able to grasp the idea and saw it coming.

I dodged and quickly counterattacked, hitting him the right where, it hurt the most, my arm grabbed his throat, and I tried to choke him, as he was desperate to breathe, The pain could be felt, but I wanted to kill him now.

Draco was able to manage to pin me down by me a heavy punch. I landed back on the floor. I can't fight this anymore. The fatigue, the blood loss, the pain, the weight of everything, took its toll.

Everything faded black, as the world turned dark, slowly.

"There is no choice to feel death, Since your child, I will tell your parent, what your child is like, and explain it in every detail." Draco cackles as I'm about to get fade out and die.

With what little energy I have left, I try and rise to my feet, but my body is screaming in pain.

"This is insane, don't you see, so, why do you just stay on the ground." Draco laughed and shouted while I'm standing and still trying to get up.

I couldn't do anything, I was just a bunch of kids, who were playing with adult things, this word repeatedly into my mind deeply and deeper.

Not to mention, I remember those words of Draco's mouth spending out.

I laugh in the midst, "Don't You realize the pain and suffering I have gone through?"

It wasn't from being underfed, or not having a good life, but it was from other much more terrible things,

The suffering. The nightmare of guilt.

"For four years, I felt nothing. Like a god damned corpse. Just lifeless. But from what? I suffered from much worse things, that I didn't understand.

Imagined.

People's thoughts. People's emotions. They were terrible. Repetitive, and mind-numbingly repetitive. All my life,

I didn't have one idea that was my own.

I raised my right hand into the sky, Mother, Father, Ayase, Loyal butler, Seth, I respect you for protecting me, known as failure to pay your depth. Even though I love you all, and I hoped that you can now survive. And that I won't suffer anymore, Like what happened before. With all of this power, with my core soul mana.

Instantaneously,

I soared through the tumultuous skies, a living legend amidst the tempest's fury, my presence a living embodiment of a stormy folklore. The wind itself seemed to rally to my side, guiding my path as golden lightning crackled around me, an ethereal manifestation of pure, holy mana. It was as though I had harnessed the very essence of divine light.

In a flash, I descended upon Draco, a bolt of white radiance, an avenging angel of retribution. My glare, as blinding as the morning sun, seared through the darkness of his malevolence. The intensity of my arrival sent shockwaves through the very fabric of the world, and his scream, wrought with agony and terror, echoed for miles, reaching the ears of my mother, father, and Seth, who bore witness to this cataclysmic confrontation.

The entire area was bathed in the resplendent glow of my power, casting a faint, otherworldly outline of the battleground where the forces of darkness clashed with the luminance of justice.

My right hand quivered with righteous fury as I drew near. "This could very well be your reckoning, Draco," I intoned, my words a harbinger of his impending doom. My clenched fist, a harbinger of justice, was poised to deliver its verdict upon his malevolent countenance.

With a force that defied comprehension, I unleashed my blow, and the impact reverberated throughout the forest. A cascade of golden winds, resplendent as they were devastating, swept through the woods, a testament to the cataclysmic clash between good and evil. It was a call to all who dwelled in the forest, a clarion declaration that something of monumental import had transpired.

As my power surged, the very elements bowed to my will. The tempest roared to life, a swirling maelstrom of wind and thunderous lightning bolts. The world around us transformed into a realm of chaos, akin to a hurricane's heart. Draco, in the midst of this tempest's fury, was but a shadow, a figure lost amidst the tumultuous whirlwind. He could neither find footing nor escape his inevitable descent into oblivion.

As the Crimson Eye hung suspended above the mountain, its gaze was fixed, and it seemed almost indifferent, like a spectator with crossed legs, silently observing an unfolding spectacle of unknown delight.
