It was like meeting a kindred spirit who understood all of his plights and where his problems came from. 'Well, more likely than not, we are never going to meet each other again.' He preferred it that way.

A strange kinship made by a fluke should stay as a fluke, no matter how pleasant the talk was. It was the better way to approach what happened; he sure as hell did not need his problems starting to seep out into someone else's life.
