The wolves were surprised and thrilled at the prospect of eating crocodile meat, a food they had never tasted before. Many of them were impatient or angry at Kyrie for stopping them before they could feast on it.

The deal was simple; he killed them, and he had the rights to one of the carcasses and the skin of the other two. There wasn't any room for dealings or bargains after that.

Kyrie did as he said he would, took one of the carcasses, the skin of the other two after gruesome hours of skinning, and went to do his "human stuff," also known as curing said hides. His sword kept making weird noises, but it was nothing too worrisome.
