Chapter 127 - Fall from Grace 2

Her second life has come like a miracle out of heaven itself. This half-existence known as the "Annoying golden egg" or "troublesome orb" wasn't as bad as she had once thought it to be. The oblivious man and woman who took care of her, besides the ancient Red Fairy, were not as bad either.

This is what ailed her and made this heavy feel worse in her existence. She had been lethargic at first, happy that she was granted a second life, even if it was miserable at the time, abandoning her duty to serve "them".

But a second chance was a second chance, even an existence like her would want a second shot because no one wanted to die. This is what always motivated mortals to seek Valhalla, seek validation for their beliefs in an afterlife.

Some were correct in their assumptions, others not so much. Yet this was all for mankind, the scions of the ancients. Yet what happened to her kin then? Existences like themselves? To where do they go after death?
