Chapter 38 - Chapter 38

After a lunch break,

Sun-Hwa came back to her desk alone, and then co-workers joined her lately. Dae Hyeon had been in his office the whole time since Sun Hwa calmed him down.

A few minutes later, as everyone was engrossed in work, Dong Han entered and settled in his seat. He glimpsed at the file that intern Dohan asked him to hand to Sun-Hwa and took it, stretching towards Sun-Hwa's table.

"Dohan asked me to give you this."

Sun-Hwa got it, flipping the page of the CADD drawing he has been trying recently. Every drawing could compete with an architect-level His designs, little details about the essential dimension—everything spoke of his talent.

She thought for a second before looking at Dong Han, who was just checking the financial state on the computer.

May I ask for it? She asked herself, reluctantly biting her lower corner lip as her gaze steadily focused on Dong Han.

A few seconds later, overcoming her loath, she finally called out his name.

"Dong Han,"

"Hmm?"

He looked at her.

She showed that file to Dong Han and asked, "Can you give feedback on this design?"

Since Dong Han was a multi-talented person who was a good performer in the business world, she hoped he could tell if that drawing could meet current business rules.

He got it and checked each design carefully.

"Mmmm, Nice. Who drew these?" He asked, Keep checking the next pages.

"Really?" Sun Hwa boomed in confidence.

Dong Han gave a firm nod, smiling at her glittering expression.

"Do Han did draw this. Instead of working in this low-income job, it would be better if he got work in the design department, wouldn't it?" Sun-Hwa asked.

"Yes, but... He needs experience before he gets the job," he informed. His words, carried irresolutely, caused Sun Hwa to lose hope.

Judging her downward face, Dong Han switched his tone to assurance at light speed. "But with his talent, he could make it without experience."

Sun Hwa straightened and looked at him. A bright smile splashed out at every possibility of convincing her. Because he knows no company will take freshmen for the experience-needed job.

However, if anyone sees his talented work, they will immediately offer him a job without experience.

"I'll ask our chairman; wait," he said, leaving the office.

Dong Han was coming, walking along the corridor where the chairwoman's office was. Just as he was about to step near her office door.

"Reject her,"

The chairwoman's voice came out through an opened door.

Dong Han stopped right there with the file.

"But she looks talented, Mam." One of the managers tried to convince the chairwoman.

"Reject her; I don't want freshmen! I can't wait till they learn." She viciously opposed it.

As she drove her pupils to the corner with a highly tensed face, she glimpsed Dong Han standing outside.

"Mr. Dong Han? Waiting to meet me?" She exclaimed inside her, kicking out frustration in a moment.

"Leave first!" She sped up her walk outside and welcomed Dong Han.

"I'm glad to see you at my office door, Mr. Dong Han. Do you need anything? Let me know. I'm waiting to help you with all my heart." with a well-pleased look, she asked.

Dong Han shook his head. "No, no. No thanks. I was just passing by," he said, looking at her suddenly disappointed, diligent face. "Then... Excuse me."

He passed her, leaving her hanging on the edge of the cliff.

Will anyone come to the middle floor just to pass by? She asked herself, throwing a muddled stare towards him as he walked off from her.

At the office, Sun Hwa noticed Dong Han coming inside with slack shoulders and sitting in his seat as if he were drowning in thought.

"What happened?" She asked, seeing him slap that file gently on the desk.

He turned to her and said, "I don't think this place will be suitable for an innocent like Do Han. How about submitting his drawing for the competition? He can get selected by a good company," he suggested.

"Can. But he is short of money to participate in competitions like that." With a dull and tedious voice, she said

"Oh, don't worry. I'll pay for it." He said.

Dae Hyeon was looking at Sun Hwa from his seat all the while, since he had nothing to do.

"Then, don't let him know about this." Sun Hwa declared

Dong Han nodded and switched back to his work as Sun Hwa continued her paper-collecting work.

On the other side, Hyein was waving back and forth, glimpsing at Dong Han's serious-exposing handsome face, which was checking the financial state of Dae Hyeon's. She wished she could catch his attention if she kept waving back and forth instead of staying in the same position.

Seconds passed a minute.

Minutes passed an hour.

The hour also ran to call the evening gleam.

And the clock is going to tick at 5:00 PM.

Still, Dong Han didn't seem like he would fall for her trick. Who did she think Dong Han was? Ha ha ha ha. He will be switched to a honed-in position and won't mind anyone unless they spell out his name to call.

"Sun Hwa," Dae Hyeon called her before leaving the office.

She gave a glance at him before moving it to her employees. "Guys, let's wrap this up for today."

Sun Hwa left in a hurry without even seeing Dong Han, who was still on his computer, deaf to her announcement.

At the entrance, Dae Hyeon is standing near his cat, waiting for Sun Hwa's presence, as his checking stare was on the entrance door for Sun Hwa.

After some workers came out, Sun Hwa coming out came into his sight.

With a disgruntled dancing body, Hyein stood up, leaving the office with other employees, Jio, and Do Han. Yet Dong Han didn't appear to be going to complete his work.

Sun Hwa came, stood in front of him, and asked, "What for, did you call me?"

With love's overwhelming face, he got a hold of her bag. She let him have that. He then opened the car's front passenger door for her. "Get in!"

She narrowed her eyes. "What? What's with this worldless response? Are you planning anything secretly?"

He shoved her in by the arms quickly and shut the door after scanning her, sitting comfortably.
