Chapter 26 - Dong-Han revenge

As her span of glazing at him amplified from second to second, she was engulfed in her thoughts.

"If you had shown this love earlier before divorcing, I would be yours by now. You are a bit late, Dae-Hyeonna!"

A wintry chuckle flinched out in the middle of her thoughts.

"How can I avoid your touch, fool? I loved you, and you are the only one that my heart will beat for."

She pulled air in deeply and exhaled, putting a full stop to her thoughts as Dae-hyeon stood up to check on the computer after the CPU turned on.

"Is it working?" Asked Sun-Hwa relaxed a little bit once receiving his nod.

"Is it working, leader?" Hyein peeked at them when Dae-Hyeon almost reached out for Sun-Hwa's hand to hold her.

Sun-Hwa pulled back her hand and offered her a crack smile. "Yes, Hyein." Her smile wore a tinge of flutter until Dae-Hyeon went back to his room and closed the door.

........ ........ ........

In Seoul.

Dong-Han entered Su-Won's office building through the revolving door. He looked straight; his folded fist sent up an irate through bulging nerves as his spirit was overwhelming on the furious inner side.

It was Su-Won coming alone to leave the building. With his eyes on the phone, he failed to spot Dong-Hon standing in his way.

Su-Won was about to reach him. He stopped moving further once his down-looking eyes noticed a formal shoe-worn foot blocking his way.

He subtly narrowed his eyes, rolling his pupils up. "Wh-"

Before his eyes met Dong-Han, Dong-Han's strong-willed fist twisted his face away.

With a thump finger tracing the blood-dripping corner of the lip, he raged, "What the hell did you do just now?" It reverberated all over the wide, neat building. As a result, it froze every employee, whoever was walking here and there, and also the receptionist.

"How dare you touch Sun-Hwa? Isn't it shameful to abuse your brother's wife?" Dong-Han criticised, not reduced in wrath. On the silent floor, it was evident that everyone could hear his voice.

Su-Won laid back from choosing violence since everyone's eyes were on him. He let his words explain. "I love her!"

His unexpected, assertive answer shocked workers and perplexed Dong-Han.

"Love?" Dubiously raised his brow and declared without delay, "But Sun-Hwa loves Dae-Hyeon. And even if it's love, your actions didn't tell it. That was the sexual abuse you did to her."

Su-Won rolled up his eyes, annoyed. "Don-"

"This is the last warning! Don't try to touch her. If you did, you will be..." He paused his voice and moved his lips only. "Dead!"

A scornful chuckle escaped Su-Won's mouth, and she sarcastically asked, "Are you threatening me?" His appearance was disclosed as chill instead of fear.

Dong-Han repeated the same chuckle with a jolt of his shoulder and moved his lips closer to his ear. "Yes!" he whispered. A smirk peeked.

"Have you lost your mind?" Su-Won splashed with exasperation as Dong-Han pulled back his head and turned around to leave the building.

He walked off him, back facing, and showed his index and middle fingers before exclaiming, "Yeah, since morning!"

Su-Won failed to witness Dong-Han's unshakable confidence that his whole body carried.

Every employee looked back at their work and started to walk away hurriedly in fear before Su-Won's eyes moved from Dong-Han to them.

"I'm Angel King's genre; you can't win against me!" Dong-Han spoke himself, looking at the car mirror and raising his eyebrows coolly as if he were proud of himself.

He dragged down his eyebrows as if he had lost a speck of confidence."But, I should figure out my power before he comes for me." He reminded himself. In a trice, he ran away from there as he realised Su-Won was also headed towards the exit before Dong-Han stirred his calmness.

... ... ...

Sun-Hwa's phone rang while she was transforming a file to the pen drive. She got a hold of it and attended it. It was from Dong-Hon.

"Yes, Dong-Han," she responded.

"Sorry to bother you. Su-Won is saying he loves you. Do you perhaps know about it beforehand?"

"One sec," she excused herself, giving a checked stare at interns and the boss's room. He had already fixed his eye on her and put all of his confidence on the glass wall, which couldn't project his face at her, but he could see everything.

He must be watching me, am I right? She thought to herself and, unseated casually, walked out of the office.

After leaning over the pillar where no one was, she put her phone in her ear. "Hello?"

"Hmmm," came an utter from another end of the line.

"Yes, he loves me." Her voice was like she hated to admit the truth. "He proposed to me on my wedding day, demanding... If Dae-Hyeon doesn't love me and offers divorce, he'll come for you. "

"What are you saying? Did Dae-Hyeon know about this?" asked Dong-Han, and it was unbelievable.

"No, don't tell him about this, please!" She requested.

"Okay, I will not." He lowered his voice to say this but quickly switched to pleasure before saying, "Sun-Hwa, I punched him."

It only piqued her concern. "Are you a fool? Why did you hit him? What can you do if he takes revenge on you?"

Her face squeezed into great misery. "No doubt, he will! Are you stupid, Dong-Han?"

"Hey, cool, cool, cool! I'm okay. Don't worry, I can take care of it." He comforted her throbbing heart, and deep inside, her worry gratified him. His slightest lovely smile was the evidence, which was out of sight for Sun-Hwa.

"Be careful," she said, breathing out her last anxiety-filled air into relaxation.

"Sure, take care of yourself. No!" He regretted it instantly, causing her to be perplexed for a second, and then, in a slow beat, he said, "Dae-Hyeon will take care of you. Just obey him."

He broke into a chuckle while she shook off her head like she couldn't emend him. "Bye, Dong-han." She hung up the call. "Two of them have the same personality!" she thought to herself as she stared at a random spot, and a radiant smile escaped her lips.

"Boom!" She felt a male voice closer to her ear.

It sent a shiver down her spine. That person drew his foot forward, passing hers, to stand in front of her. It was Dae-Hyeon smiling lovingly again as she tapped her chest to calm down her raised heartbeat.

"You smiled earlier; who was on the phone?" He asked curiously, with a tinge of possessiveness.

"No, I won't tell you!" She playfully refused and twirled, turning to leave him off.

"Then it must be Dong-Han," he concluded once he assessed her playful voice. He then followed back her steps like a child following a mother for chocolate, keeping the lovely smile.
