[Attack Commence on the Wolves]
...
Back on the main battlefield between the wolves and the foxes, you could spot a heavily beaten-up brown hair boy named Levent with bruises upon bruises stacked up on his head. This was all thanks to his evil superior overlord named Evan who has vicious eyes glowing dark criminal crimson red, daring him to say something, anything dumb, to have reason to increase the number of bruises residing the top of his head.
"Sir Evan." Lucas, an elite's calm voice knocked Evan out of his rage as he looked to the speaker respectfully. After all, Lucas was a renowned genius known throughout the wolf clan. Trained from a young age at 8, he absorbed everything he was taught like a sponge. Furthermore, when he debuts in the Great Mythical Clan's annual competition at 15, he singles handedly managed to attain 5th place, right under hydra clan's representative, surpassing the white tigers and the griffons.
Impressive as that already is, it was still not enough to move up the wolf clan's ranking all together. Though that didn't stop them from rightfully bragging to the white tigers and the griffons about their absolute lost by one of theirs. The fueled anger from both parties made them come together to go behind the peace agreement made by all the Great Mythical Clan's 15 years ago, to assassinate Lucas Lee.
It would've been successful had they not underestimated Lucas's capabilities to single handedly defeat all 10 of their members, 5 from both clans, with ease while being surrounded. After reporting the assassination to the elders, they quickly traced back the identities of the individuals to the white tiger and griffon clans. Furious by their under handedly methods, they gather enough evidence to provide to the other clans who were also anger by this too, for breaking the 15-year agreement of course.
After all, neither of the clans could care less if their enemies were to lose men, especially their genius ones. But according to the agreements, each clan should respect one another and should not engage in battle with one another unless the battling were to take place in their annual gatherings.
And the white tiger clan and griffon clan clearly broke that agreement. Who's to say the rest of the clans wouldn't dare to do the same if they manage to get away with it. So, to make an example out of those two, both clans had to pay heavy reparation damages for both mentally and physical damages they've caused while also providing the wolf clan with one additional favor of any kind within reason.
This way, the wolf clan has the advantage over the white tiger and griffon clan within the favor while also showing the consequences one would face for daring to go against the peace agreement. But of course, there was more to it than that.
With tension arising heavily between all 3 sides, this left anger and promise of vengeance to come with every annual gathering against the wolves. Not that the other clans cared as this benefited them rather well, especially the foxes who receive satisfaction for every wolf member's defeat, suffering from major injuries or even better, death.
Moreover, while the white tigers and the griffons held much anger towards the wolves, the same could've been to one another because after the assassination failure, they blamed each other for it as they knew that they'll eventually get caught. So, they went to great lengths to blame and prop fake evidence on one another so they can take the fault.
Shiro, the wolf's patriarch smartly figures out that they would choose such cowardly methods in order to escape, running away with their tails wagging between their leg's scot-free, which is ironic as they're the ones with the tails, excluding the tiger's fur like tail.
The white tigers seemingly had planted more evidence to dictate the griffons as the sole mastermind which would've let them get away with the fail assassination if not for one key component both sides forgot.
There is no better alibi than the person in the eye of the storm.
Which was of course, Lucas.
After swiftly defeating each assailant from both clans, before deposing of their bodies that held no identities, he carefully took items, blood samples, and more that could easily trace back to each clan. And though the griffons and the tigers can deny it all they want, with the other clans pressuring them for answers for so long, this led to their initiated surrender.
As such, though this event transpires almost 5 years ago, this doesn't mean bad blood from all 3 sides could easily disappear. Especially for the wolves who not only have to watch their backs against the tigers and the griffons, but also the foxes who they are at a constant war with. And the other clans couldn't care less whether either of the clans are at a disadvantage because they will only benefit from it as time goes on.
Lucas: "As much as I like the current behaved Levent, we have more important matters to focus on."
He said, looking between Levent who sits Japanese style with both hands raised in the air and Evan who's thinking hard about what to do with their troublemaker (Levent) with devil horns residing the tops of his head. He sighs funnily while shaking his head at the weird visual effects occupying his mind at the moment as he continues observing the battlefield that has leveled considerably for both sides but mainly for them.
Before, the wolves were pushed back considerably but now, they aren't being overwhelmed by the foxes by that much. Each side were about equal. The only way the balance in power would change is if their patriarch were to return and therefore signaling the others defeat and thus, lowering morals and their will all together to continue the battle.
But assuming their patriarch who is the strongest in both of their well-respected clans are fighting, both sides can conclude that their battle will be long and treacherous so they cannot rely on their return before the battle near its end.
Needless to say, the wolves were in a situation where they were in complete control of the battlefield. With most of the fox's main heavy attack hitters, which concludes the few giants that held their ground well against many of the wolf's elite, are either out unconscious or dead, leaving few strong fox members that seemingly have well enough experience to push the wolves back.
Moreover, due to the surprise attack led by the foxes at the beginning, the number of wolves is lower than the foxes overall.
However, like all battles are fought, it is not won with quantity but with quality.
And that's exactly what the wolves have.
At least, that's what they believe.
Just wait until they feast their eyes upon the fox's ultimate transformation.
That time will come sooner rather than later as both sides can agree that this battle is coming to its end, and they will appear victorious.
Evan allowed Levent to stand though he didn't allow him to move from his sight one bit as he didn't trust him to stay out of trouble. Jake, one of the elites who is fairly close with Lucas followed his each and every command as he went to support the rear side while also helping those who seek medical attention.
Lucas would usually be supporting Jake heavily in this type of situation, but he believes Jake can handle the current situation on the rear side as his main attention should be on the front lines where the fox's resistance is quite extreme. Not only that, but he believes he should take on the role as commander in officer to lead the wolves to victory.
Fortunately for him, he's not the only one that believes that as everyone in the wolf clan can agree that he's the only one trustworthy, more so reliable to lead them as Levent is too reckless while Evan is too busy keeping Levent in his place.
Baby-sitting duty, am I right?
Jake would've been a good option too if not for his slight shyness in being the center of attention which was also why he followed Lucas. Because in his eyes, Lucas was his light, and he was the shadow. As long as the light shone brightly, nobody would notice the shadow which was what he aimed for.
As for the other elites, they were either too young, had little to no experience, or had no leadership qualities at all which was exactly what they needed. A leader to step up and command them. Order them around with the intent to secure their survival while also securing their victory in this war.
All the qualities that only Lucas currently fulfilled, as everyone looked expectingly towards his direction, awaiting his command. Seeing everyone hold him in high regards for their safety and their victory all together, Lucas couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed.
Holding everyone's lives in the palm of his hand is a lot. One mistake, or wrong move, could lead to their immediate demise or all together, their death. Such a thing is something he cannot afford, especially when his patriarch is counting on them for the wolf's victory.
Noting all the risk that is to come with the wolf's defeat, he quickly brushes away his overwhelmed nerves, breathing in and out to calm himself, before strategizing ways to defeat the foxes.
Almost immediately, he spots an opening in the fox's defense near the front lines on the right side. Many of them cannot keep up with the bombardments of attacks. It seems like too much is going on for them to comprehend it which is why some of them seems reliant on specific members of the fox clan.
If they were to take out key components of the fox clans, the rest are just sitting ducks. With that being said, he urgently orders Evan and Levent squadron under their leadership to attack the right side of the front lines. Because of this, many of the fox's focus will shift towards them which will eventually make it easier for them to break through the middle before surrounding the foxes all together.
A splendid plan that would've worked well if he accounted for the bitcoin's full potential.
Too bad he didn't, like his patriarch.
I suppose there's that saying, like master like disciple.
After everyone receive their order, they were quick to accomplish it. The foxes were quick to notice the wolves were on the move and decided all together, to activate their ultimate form, the 9-tail's transformation. Making eye contact with one another through their mask as they all nodded to each other, they all tapped the coin residing their neck 5 times before concentrating energy towards it.
Lucas and many of the elites perceive the fox's odd behavior and instantly got a bad feeling so they sped up the process and rushed to the front lines, attack any and all foxes they saw and came their way, hoping to quickly surround the foxes and beating them into submission.
Unfortunately, it was the other way around and though the foxes were almost surrounded, it wouldn't be long till the tides of the battle will be turned around, in favor of the foxes.
