Third person point of view
Cecil walked into the building with long strides. The employees made way for him without questioning it. They saw Cecil at an office event along with Aaron and so knew him. Cecil used the access card and went to the top floor. He walked to the door and it opened when he walked closer. The directors of departments walked out. They all greeted him.
But Cecil only gave them a nod and made his way in. Seeing Cecil's expression, they couldn't help wonder if something happened. Cecil walked to the conference room and pushed the door open. Aaron was sitting at the table and speaking to one of the directors. His eyes went wide when he saw Cecil. He got up and went to him. He noticed Cecil's expression was not right.
" Let's go to my office ". Aaron took Cecil's hand and walked into his cabin. Aaron sat down on the couch and Cecil was standing in front of him. Aaron would be lying if he said he wasn't scared. He gulped and didn't say anything. Cecil took out his phone and opened a post and showed it to Aaron. Aaron looked at it and his eyes went wide.
He was busy the whole morning and didn't get to look at anything else. And in the mean time a scandal broke out. He recently went to a public event and there was an actress who was also a guest. They were seated side by side and were talking about something and both of them had big smiles on their faces.
There was a photo captured and people somehow made it look scandalous. Aaron checked the comments and there were people from both their sides defending them and saying it was bullshit. Aaron's eyes wavered. He looked up at Cecil whose face looked grim. He took his hand pulling him into his lap. He wanted to explain about it but Cecil spoke up first.
" She is trying to recover from her recent scandal and wanted to boost her popularity once again. So she used you for it. The reporter who wrote the article and this account who has a few more fake accounts is trying to spread this because she paid them for it. I already have enough information to throw her on the road and I am going to send it to the reporters. I wanted to let you know just in case you have any contracts signed with her ".
Aaron was surprised at how fast Cecil's people worked. " No. The contract was over a few months ago. We have nothing to do with her ". Cecil nodded. His eyebrows were still furrowed. He got out of Aaron's lap and Aaron was confused. Cecil pushed Aaron onto the back rest and straddled him. He held his face and crashed his lips on Aaron's.
Aaron put his hands around Cecil and pulled him closer. He sat up properly and kissed back. Cecil was being fierce with the kiss. He bit Aaron's lip and continued to kiss him with the little taste of blood in it. Aaron didn't say anything and let him vent it out. They pulled away and both of their breathing was ragged.
Cecil was looking down. Aaron kissed him on his lips and hugged him. Cecil also hugged him back. Aaron gave small kisses along his neck to help him calm down. " Just so you know... she told me that I was basically glowing after getting married. And I told her it was all because of you. That was why we were smiling like that ".
He kissed Cecil's cheek and pulled away. Cecil finally calmed down. Aaron could see Cecil has relaxed. " I will give you the reporters contacts who work from our side and you can also get in touch with the legal team and sue all those involved in this matter without any hesitance ". Cecil nodded. He was thinking of doing it anyway.
" I think it would cause a huge ruckus if people find out that Aaron's husband who keeps acting like a cute little coquettish kitten in social media is actually fierce like a tiger in real life ". They did post stuff from time to time from Aaron's account making sure Cecil's face wasn't shown. The comments would be full of people swooning over them.
Cecil rolled his eyes with a smirk. He pulled Aaron closer by his collar. " I would love for people to find out. They will then know to keep their dirty hands off of my husband. And that if they don't, his husband will hunt them down with no mercy ". Aaron chuckled and pinched Cecil's cheeks. Cecil scrunched his face.
Aaron kissed Cecil again. The kiss was slow and gentle. Cecil put his hands around Aaron's neck and kissed him back. He has finally let off all the steam. They pulled away. Cecil saw the red mark on Aaron's lip. " Does it hurt ? " Aaron chuckled. " It is nothing. It will heal in no time ". Cecil gave a nod. He kissed it again gently.
Aaron couldn't help smile at the gesture. " Weren't you just acting all fierce ? " " It is different ". " Right, right ". Cecil huffed. He let out a breath. He played with Aaron's tie. " Your assistant seems to be scared out of his wits ". Aaron laughed throwing his head back. " Of course he would be. You looked like you wanted to kill someone ".
Cecil rolled his eyes and got off Aaron's lap. " Then how dare they mess with what's mine ? " Aaron nodded vigorously. " Yes, yes ". " Ask him to come in. There is so much to do ". Aaron nodded and stood up. Cecil helped him with his dress and hair. It was a little ruffled up. Aaron called his assistant and told what was happening.
He was shocked and was angry too. He took Cecil with him and the both went to settle the matter. In the evening, Cecil and Aaron went back home together. They walked into their room and Aaron back hugged Cecil. " What is it ? " " Let's shower together ". Cecil narrowed his eyes looking at Aaron. " Just shower ". Cecil nodded.
They finished it and Aaron was drying Cecil's hair. He was done and put it aside. He ran his hands through Cecil's hair setting it properly. Cecil shook his head making it fall all over his face. Aaron chuckled. Cecil pushed it all back. Aaron still stood there and Cecil looked up at him. " What was your initial reaction when you saw it ? "
Cecil thought about it. " Shock and disbelief. I knew the truth so it was just ridiculous anyway. I immediately went to find out why it was happening. I was angry like super mad at that woman for her stupid actions ". Aaron smiled. " Shouldn't have done stupid things to begin with ". Cecil muttered making Aaron laugh. Aaron held Cecil's face and kissed him.
Cecil also kissed back tilting his head upwards. They pulled away and Cecil got up. " Let's go. I need to make dinner ". Cecil walked out and Aaron followed him to the kitchen. Cecil quickly got to work and started by chopping some vegetables. Aaron stood on his side. " We never did it here, did we ? " Cecil hit Aaron on his arm and shook his head.
" Don't even think of it. I will NEVER allow that to happen, at least not in this life time. Maybe in some other life or universe where I am not such a clean freak, we can try it ". Aaron scoffed. Cecil smiled and continued his work. Aaron took out his phone and checked twitter to find out there was a hashtag trending about the both of them.
He checked the posts and everyone was supporting them and scolding the actress for doing such brainless things. Aaron smiled. He clicked a picture of Cecil's hands which were skillfully chopping the vegetables. He posted it with a caption. 'My wifey's cooking is the best'. He was proud of it. People already started liking and commenting.
Aaron grinned reading them. Cecil wondered what Aaron was smiling so widely about. " What is it ? " Aaron showed it making Cecil chuckle. He glared playfully at Aaron. " Wifey ? " Aaron grinned and kissed Cecil. " Yes kitten. Mine ". Cecil blushed. He pushed Aaron aside and went to cook. Aaron put his phone away and went to help Cecil.
