Third person point of view
They went to their room in silence. Aaron put the box on the table. Cecil was sitting on the bed with his head lowered. Aaron didn't know what to say or do. He let out a shaky breath. He walked into the wardrobe to change out of the dress and take a shower too. He needed to calm down first before talking. He let out a sigh and started removing his coat.
Cecil looked up and took a deep breath. He did all the thinking but now he only needs to take action. He got up and walked to the wardrobe. He opened the door and went to Aaron. Aaron took off his shirt as well and was putting them away. He heard the door open and saw Cecil walking in. Cecil stopped in front of Aaron.
Aaron also stood facing Cecil. Cecil continued to look down. Aaron was about to ask what happened but Cecil shocked him by suddenly hugging him. Cecil put his hands around Aaron and buried his face in his neck. Aaron took a second to recover. He slowly put his hands around Cecil too hugging him back just as tight.
Cecil couldn't stop himself anymore and the tears started rolling down his cheeks and also onto Aaron. Aaron could feel Cecil trembling and also the warm dampness on his neck. But he didn't say anything and just rubbed his back soothingly. Cecil calmed down and took deep breaths. He loosened the hug and slowly pulled away.
He still had his eyes cast down. " I am sorry for all the trouble ". He sniffled. Aaron frowned. " It is not trouble. Didn't you hear what grandpa said ? There is no way anyone will ever even think about saying anything. Let alone grandpa, I won't spare anyone who dares to say anything. They have no right to even think of saying something about you ".
Cecil looked up. Aaron raised his hands and wiped the tears away. Cecil's face was red again. Cecil sniffled trying not to cry. " I also have something else to tell you ". He did think it through already. If his gut feeling was right, then it would be fine. If not also he wouldn't regret it. " I love you ". Aaron was shook to the core.
He didn't expect Cecil to say it. He did think of asking Cecil about his feelings and if possible confess but now he was robbed of the chance. Cecil continued speaking. " You got what you wanted and I also wanted to let you know my feelings. Even if I do leave- " Aaron let out a huff. He held Cecil's face and kissed him.
Cecil's words got stuck in his throat. Aaron kissed harder pulling Cecil out of the daze. Cecil closed his eyes and kissed back. He put his hands around Aaron again. Aaron also put his around Cecil and deepened the kiss. Cecil felt tears leak from the corner of his eyes. Aaron's lips tasted like wine and he himself drank a little.
Both together were making Cecil feel a little drunk. He was starting to feel lightheaded. The both of their breathing were raged when they pulled away. Aaron noticed Cecil's teary eyes and felt his heart squeeze. He wiped the tears again. He held Cecil's face making him look up. " Who said I was going to let you leave me so easily ? "
Cecil's eyes went wide. " I didn't expect you would beat me to it and confess like this. After getting married to you, living with you and spending time with you... I even wished grandpa was joking when he said he would give it to me if I get married, so that I can continue having you by my side ". He shook his head.
" He wasn't and I was thinking of all possible ways to continue this marriage and not let you go. Turns out... I was not the only one thinking of all those things ". Cecil gave a chuckle and sniffled. Aaron smiled. " I love you too ". Cecil grinned and jumped putting his hands around Aaron's neck and hugged him tightly.
He was too happy he could cry again. Aaron chuckled and put his hands around Cecil's waist hugging him back. Cecil's heels rose as he felt Aaron bury his face in his neck. Aaron gave a tight squeeze. Cecil slowly pulled away and Aaron looked really helpless. " What do I do with you ? " Aaron chuckled and wiped the tears once again.
" They just keep coming ". Both of them chuckled. Aaron kissed Cecil's forehead. Cecil smiled and finally stopped crying. He took deep breaths through his mouth and calmed down. Aaron was smiling fondly at him. Cecil couldn't stop himself. He moved closer and kissed Aaron again. Aaron smiled and kissed back. The kiss made Cecil's heart ease.
He felt so light like he was floating. His hands came into contact with Aaron's front. He opened his eyes and pulled away. He finally noticed Aaron was shirtless. He quickly took a step back in shock and blinked continuously. Aaron was confused at first but then realized why Cecil reacted that way. He couldn't help smile.
Cecil took another step back. " I will wait outside. You can... " He waved his hands gesturing to continue whatever he was doing. He walked away and blushed when he heard Aaron chuckle from behind. Aaron shook his head. Cecil sat on the bed and thought about all the things that happened. He couldn't help smile. He was really very happy.
Aaron finished his shower and walked out in his pajamas. Cecil got up and took his things. He also finished his shower. He walked out and noticed the lights were turned off except the bedside lamp. He made his way to the bed. When he neared, he noticed there was only one quilt now. He felt his heart skip a beat. He tried his best to not show it.
Aaron was sitting there waiting for Cecil. When Cecil was close enough, he lifted the quilt up for Cecil to sleep. Cecil did and Aaron covered him with it. He turned the lamp off too. Cecil was still thinking of which way to sleep when he felt Aaron put his hand around him. Aaron pulled Cecil closer and cuddled with him. Cecil blushed but didn't pull away.
Instead he also moved closer to Aaron and smiled. Aaron noticed the smile and gave a satisfied hum. " Good night ". " Good night ". Cecil replied and closed his eyes. Too many things happened and he really wanted to rest. Aaron kissed his head and closed his eyes too. They fell asleep pretty quickly as the tiredness caught up to them.
