Raymond angrily threw the bottle at her but she dodged it easily.
"Is that all you got," Angel said and Raymond snapped his fingers and three boys, namely, Cannabis, Solomon and Gideon, charged at her but she did a front flip, flying over their heads.
"You sabi kung-fu abi," Cannabis said with his black lips and punched her on her belly but she didn't flinch.
"That's it," Angel said and sweep-kicked him, making him fall down on the ground face first.
"Who's next?" she asked as she tightened her fist and maintained her fighting stance.
Raymond gave the rest a signal and Solomon and Gideon dashed to her at once aiming a punch but she slide under their legs and before they could react defensively, she jammed their heads together and they both went to comatose. Angel looked at the direction where Raymond was to see him holding a pocket knife. He threw it at her but she held the blade instead of the hilt as blood flowed from her palm.
"You just made a grave mistake," Angel said as she threw the blood stained knife on the floor. she dashed to him and threw her legs in an anti clock-wise direction which threw him some meters away. she then held Raymond by his neck as she choked him, lifting him off the ground. His black face started having a shade of red as he struggled to breath.
"That's enough Miss Angel," a voice sounded from the door and Angel looked there to see the principal. She reluctantly left Raymond to Emmanuel's seat but not after hitting Raymond's head on a desk making a crack sound as he passed out. The principal left after making sure the injured students were taking to the hospital.
"So do you prefer Nigeria or America?" Emmanuel asked as Angel smiled.
"Well, I prefer Nigeria for the freedom but I prefer America for the resources," Angel replied and Emmanuel smiled.
"Me two....um, remember that time when we went to the US together and saved the president with Samson?" Emmanuel said as Angel faced him.
"Yeah, what about it?" she asked as she continued playing with her hair.
"I was listening to the news yesterday and it seems the president is thinking of recruiting us to join specially trained soldiers to stop the Ravengers," Emmanuel dropped the bombshell as Angel paused and looked at her formerly bleeding hand to see it completely healed.
"Looks like we're going to the US again," Angel said smiling.
"Look, we have to prepare for our WAEC so am thinking of contacting Samson," Emmanuel suggested as Angel nodded.
"No prob," Angel agreed as their English teacher came into the class.
TIME: 4HRS LATER
LOCATION: LAGOS STATE, IKEJA.
A group of gangsters surrounded a girl as her skimpy dress was torn in different places as she shed tears .
"Abeg," she pleaded as the gang leader didn't even flinch.
"Sey you wan show us se you be fine girl. Wida you," the gang leader said as he gave a hard slap on her face earning a cry of pain.
"Boys," he said and his gang members held her tightly as he started removing his belt.
"Nooooo, please!" she shouted as she struggled from their grip but wasn't strong enough as their grip was strong on her.
"Leave the girl," a voice said in the darkness but the gang leader didn't even move.
"I said…leave….the…..girl," the voice said again and the gang leader turned to the direction of the voice.
"Who de there," he asked but his voice was absorbed by the darkness. He was about to continue what he was doing but was cut short by a groan from one of his men as a dart from the darkness had penetrated his neck rendering him paralyzed.
"I say who de there," the gang leader shouted again as he removed a gun from his pocket and cocked it.
"Your greatest nightmare," the voice said and suddenly, all his men fell on the floor with green veins glowing on their skin as they couldn't move. Fear gripped him as a guy wearing a super thick black ninja suit on a black metal helmet with a sword strapped to his back stepped out of the darkness. A sash which held paralyzing darts hung on his shoulder with a black belt which held some shurikens. He removed two daggers from the two holsters on his laps and threw it at him. It embedded on his shoulders, pinning him to a wall as his gun fell.
"Who...are…you," the gang leader struggled to say in pain as the ninja looked at him.
"Super Ninja," the ninja answered as he removed his sword and was about to slash his head off when something collided with him, throwing him away. He groaned as he stood up without a scratch to see Angel still wearing her school uniform but on a mask with her hands emitting white light. She dashed to Super Ninja but he dived away and she crashed on a van disfiguring it. Super Ninja held his sword tightly knowing she has powers. Angel blasted him with a light blast but he blocked it with his sword and threw some darts at her which she narrowly dodged as he threw it really hard. He swerved his sword to decapitate her but she bent low and gave him an uppercut, throwing him into two cars, bending them beyond repair.
"Who are you?" Super Ninja asked as he stood up.
"None of your business," she replied and Super Ninja immediately remembered her voice but couldn't place where he heard it from. Distracted, Angel morphed into her light FORM (A manifestation of her light energy) and punched him to a swimming pool nearby and the people inside scurried away. He groaned as he held his broken ribs which healed slowly. He came out of the swimming pool panting before super speeding to Angel who didn't expect it as he gave her a speed punch, pummeling her to the ground he punched her really hard making her groan in pain as her skull cracked but Super Ninja didn't notice as he kept punching her until her mask fell off.
"No!" he gasped as he now recognized her but she was already unconscious. He turned to the gang leader but he held a gun and immediately fired at him but the bullet fell as green blood dripped from the wound which closed up slowly.
"Zombie," the gang leader shouted as he aimed at his head but Super Ninja held the gun and shattered it quite easily. His fingers turned to talons which he used to rip off the gang leader's heart. A taxi parked close to where Super Ninja threw the gang leader's heart and Emmanuel alighted from it.
"Sorry I'm late babe, I didn't know when you left so I…." Emmanuel was saying but stopped as he saw Angel on the floor bleeding excessively with Super Ninja's hands stained with blood and a still beating heart on the floor.
"I'm so dead," Super Ninja said as Emmanuel opened the suitcase and removed the blue and red combination stone which he absorbed as one of his eyes turned blue and the other red.
