THAT'S IT FOR NOW, BACK TO THE STORY

Everyone was enjoying themselves being splashed with the cool breeze until the smell of blood was scented only for them to look into the sea to see a mutant devouring a little girl mercilessly.

"Ahhhh" The whole crowd screamed as they immediately fled the scene including Emmanuel who stopped as he saw a boy about to be finished off by a mutant. He super sped to it with a red blur and punched it away.

"Leave when you still have the chance", Emmanuel told him and he scurried away. The beach was already empty as the crowd had all ran in fear. The mutants growled at him fiercely as they stepped forward. He dipped his hand into his pocket bringing out the red stone which glowed as he absorbed it into his body making him emit a red aura which made the mutants shift back a little. A mutant rushed to him but he lifted him with one hand smashing it on the ground with brute force. The remaining ones dashed to him at the same time and he blasted them with red beams from his hands killing some and injuring the rest. Their wounds refused to heal as they held perplexed looks. Emmanuel just smiled and sped in their midst ripping out their hearts without them even noticing. They slowly fell with their bodies taking a pale colour. Emmanuel dusted his body and all his energy materialized into the red stone as he immediately became weak because it took a great amount of his natural energy to form the stone again. If he kept the stone in him, its energy would overwhelm him killing his human self and turning him into a god like creature. He managed to crawl into an abandoned car where he sat until he went unconscious.

LOCATION: INHUMAN CONTROL BOARD, Washington DC

The Inhuman Control Board (ICB) was established when the mutants broke loose so as to be able to curb its spread. They are currently holding a meeting on the best way to stop the mutants.

"I'm telling you, the best way to destroy those mutants is by making a cure available", a woman said as a heated argument started about whether to cure them or find a way to kill them.

"Silence! All in favour of find a cure raise your hands", the chairman of the board said and four hands were raised. The reason those four raised their hands was because their family members were mutants.

"All in favour of total destruction, raise your hands", he said and all the rest raised their hands.

"It's settled, we have to find something capable of killing them off," he said but a video began to play in a large screen behind him showing the mutants on the floor with their hearts separated far from their bodies.

"Ahhhh", the crowd gasped as it was the first time they saw a dead mutant not to talk of ten mutants.

"We got a call of a mutant attack in Lagos, Nigeria and we immediately went there only to see this. We believe there is either a robot or supernatural in Nigeria which has the capability to kill these mutants. Fred out!

"You've all seen it, we have a killer machine to find but first we have to come up with a name for it, I was thinking of something like.... Scavengers," the chairman said and people began to murmur.

"Wait, why don't we call them, THE RAVENGERS," a woman shouted and everybody paused and began to nod.

"The Ravengers it is, you may leave," the chairman dismissed the meeting sending all the members away.
