Chapter 19 - [Underground Labyrinth] (6)

While the crowd cheered in a delirious frenzy, the Mindless Monk, who had used his Tier-3 defence spell, stood motionlessly while the Purple Haze Tiger had its maws around his neck.

Due to his spell being "incomplete," he was always rendered unable to move upon using the spell, it was also his last resort spell that he would use in hopes of having his opponent back away after noticing they weren't able to damage him.

But, the stupid Tiger that merely moved upon its bloodlust marred instincts was unwilling to let go of the prey it had bitten.

'Fuck.....' The Mindless Monk gritted his teeth inwardly while his open eyes turned bloodshot, glaring down at the Purple Haze Tiger that had its purple flames danced on its fur.

Slowly, Monk's body began to turn hot and red, making him feel as if was merely another kind of metal that was thrown inside a furnace for refinement by a crude jewelsmith.

Before long, the Mindless Monk's entire body had turned bright red and was on the verge of melting, while the crazed crowd booed him for his unenergetic fight.

"BOOOOOOO!!!!" The crowd roared and as if to cheer on their booing, the booming music also lowered.

CRA...

CRACK-!

And as if to light up the waned excitement, cracking sounds garnered the entire crowd's attention. Under the crowd's bloodlust marred gazes, Purple Haze Tiger's maws were seen nearing the Mindless Monk's red body.

The defence on the Monk's body was waning, thanks to the depletion of his mana and due to the Tiger's fierce purple flames that were acting against him and helping him at the same time.

The Mindless Monk could feel himself getting stronger and he knew if he survived the purple flames, he would be stronger than ever, but the mana in his body was nearing complete depletion.

The golden hue around his body was being tampered by the purple flames, but to keep the hue active, mana which he lacked was required, as regretful as it felt, he knew that he could do nothing to survive his predicament.

CHUP-!

And within a matter of utter silence dyed seconds, the crowd was thrown into another level of frenzy when they saw the Purple Haze Tiger's maws bite the Mindless Monk's head, as exciting as the match was at the beginning it was as disappointing at the end.

"BOOOOOOOO!!!!"

The crazed crowd booed at the dead Mindless Monk's body while the Purple Haze Tiger had its hard earned snack.

The anchor woman walked into the arena after the Purple Haze Tiger was restrained, swaying her and flashing her near-naked body making the crowd cheer as they passed lustrous comments which the woman responded back with a similarly lustrous smile's as she licked her lips seductively.

She then began to call out more people to make the arena get drenched in more blood than it already is.

The Purple Haze Tiger died at the hands of a blurry fearful man after it ate two more people, similarly the blurry fearful man also died in the hands of an agile woman who walked in next.

Similar bloodbaths took place before the anchor woman walked into the arena ground, which was drenched in blood, again.

She announced again, this time she added that it was last match of the day while a few women who were dressed similar to her walked into the arena, removed their stringed lingerie and threw them at the frenzied crowd were a fight broke out for those stringed pieces of lingerie, as they did a topless performance with lustrous gazes and smiles before walking out of the arena after making the underground arena's temperature raise considerably as a funny scent began to erode the arena.

After that the woman anchoring backed away without really announcing anything to keep both kinds of "excitements" in the crowd active and soon,

BOOM-!

With a loud roaring boom, the bass boosted music began booming again and knowing full well that the final match which always hosted the most exciting bloodbath of the day, the crowd was thrown into the state of delirious frenzy again.

STEP-!

Steps that instantly killed the delirious cheers of the crowd somehow actually "resounded" in the arena.

The booming music which was acting together with the crowd's cheers also died down, dyeing the arena with a strange and unfamiliar silence that made everybody feel uncomfortable.

CHRUNK-!

The sounds of the arena's cage crashing against something sounded and broke the crowd out of the uncomfortable daze that enveloped them and made them snap their heads to gaze at the direction of the sound where they found a blind man walking around the arena, grabbling around the chained cage.

That act of the blind man blindfolded in a red coloured scarf walking away from the arena's entrance made the crowd flustered and confused, but when they remembered that it was the last match of the day where an unfair blooded slaughter takes place, they smiled disgustingly before their hysterical laughter dyed the bloodied arena.

"Hahahaha!!!"

"Oye! Blind fuck, the entrance is at the other side!! Lololol!!!"

"Muhahahahaha, you actually expect that blind fuck to know where to go!?"

"Gyahahahahaha!!!"

"I don't who the blind fuck here is anymore!!!! Hahahahaha!!!!"

Under the mockery dyed laughter of the crowd, Ken did a whole circle around the arena while the laughter continued to resound throughout the underground settlement, but soon, Ken calmly walked into the arena as if he knew every bit of it and stood confidently while his sheathed sword hung on his waist.

The man who held down the Purple Haze Tiger at the beginning walked into the arena as he cracked his knuckles and neck, while men similar to the man walked behind him and all ten of them entered the arena as they glared at the blind man while amused smiles on their faces.

"WHOOOOOOOAAAHH!!!!"

"T-TEN HAVE WALKED OUT!!!! WHOOOOOOOAAAHH!!!"

BOOM-!

Again, the booming music began to make the arena tremble together with the rhythmic stomps of the crowd which was cheering madly because the "T-Ten" knew how to make a bloodbath more exciting.

Among the ten, an armoured guy who had been signalling the starts of the death-matches walked out of the group, stood in the middle of the arena and gazed at the T-Ten, currently T-Nine, and "ARE YOU READY!?" He asked in a roar while his grin never felt his face.

"RAAAAAA!!!!" The T-Ten roared in agreement while the armoured man glanced at the blind man and smirked ominously.

"ARE YOU READY!?" He asked in a similar roar and received a dull nonchalant nod from the "lamb stranded for slaughter."

With a unhidden snort and a glare, the armoured man leaned forward and raised his hand above his head as a "sheeeee"-ing sound which he obviously ignored trickled his ears and "BEGIN!!" He roared and lowered his hand which felt extremely light.

PLOP....

SPURT-!

Looking at the palm tensed forearm on the ground that was spurting blood, the armoured man furrowed his brows as he heard a deafening silence eroding the arena before his mind registered an excruciating pain on his right forearm which

He then noticed to be missing.

"... AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGH!!!!!"
