Chapter 53 - Chapter 52: Unresolved Tensions

As Anthony Dante's retreating figure disappeared, Ethan clenched his fists, his anger simmering beneath the surface. Thoughts of revenge and retaliation swirled in his mind. He muttered to himself, "If not for the promise I made, I would have brought him down for what he did."

However, he quickly reigned in his emotions, recognizing the futility of dwelling on anger. He couldn't let his past consume him, not when he had a family to protect. Ethan composed himself, putting on a facade of calm as he turned back towards Emily.

But before he could say anything, another voice interrupted their thoughts. "Please excuse me." The voice was polite but stern, snapping both Ethan and Emily's attention.

Ethan turned to see a distinguished man, Mr. Roberts, the chairman of satellite media group. "My name is Mr. Roberts, and I am the chairman of Satellite Media," he introduced himself. "I've come to offer my sincere apology to you, Mrs. Sterling."

Emily was perplexed; she had no prior dealings with Satellite Media Group. and Before she could voice her confusion, Mr. Roberts continued, "It was my daughter's mistake to have insulted you, and I assure you, it won't happen again as he tended an apology letter to Emily

"daughter.... satellite media.... insult"??? WTF thought Emily feeling even more confused

Ethan, who had been observing the exchange from the corner, couldn't help but chuckle softly at Emily's confusion. He thought she looked adorable when she was perplexed. But he couldn't let the situation slide without addressing it.

your daughter did not verbally insult my wife he began but "I don't like the way your daughter looked at or talked to my wife," Ethan said sternly my wife should be accorded the respect she deserves as Mrs sterling. do I make myself clear?? cutting off any further apologies he continued "If it ever repeats itself, there will be consequences."

and With those words, Ethan walked away, leaving Mr. Roberts to ponder the gravity of the situation. Emily, still processing what had just happened, stood there, her thoughts swirling in the aftermath of the encounter. Unresolved tensions and unanswered questions lingered in the air, threatening to disrupt their fragile peace.
