Alysia stared silently at her enemy. The man was clearly not an ordinary person considering how he moved and how powerful his swing was.
But why did he attack her? He suddenly appeared and attacked, even telling Alysia not to do anything so that his job could be easier.
So, from those words, Alysia knew that the man was indeed targeting her. But why? Is he some kind of kidnapper who wants to ask her father for ransom?
It was something stupid because her father was not someone who could be threatened with something like that. He would mobilize his Hunters or worse, himself, to attack the man.
Something like that is clearly not worth his reward. Someone who had a little bit of intelligence wouldn't do that.
If so, why did that man target her?
Alysia decided to put those thoughts aside for now. For now, the man's reasons don't matter. The important thing is that he must be able to escape from here, or at least these new recruits must escape.
