Elaine offered to meet Rama in person. But she can't attack yet. She wanted to see for herself how strong Rama really was, someone who had killed her guild master's younger son. Something like that is an unforgivable crime.
"I will kill you," Elaine said in a voice filled with very strong hostility. "Master Richter said that I should be careful. But I don't see why I should be careful. You look weak."
Rama snorted hearing the woman's comment. "So you're underestimating me?"
Elaine just kept silent while looking at Rama with her eyes full of hostility. She didn't feel any threatening energy from Rama. Maybe he was able to kill Donovan but Elaine was sure that he could do it because he played some kind of dirty trick.
Rama looked around. He didn't see anything visible. "Where are your friends? Where is Richter?"
"Don't you dare say his name without respect like that," Elaine said.
