Rama squinted, observing the debris and smoke, but he couldn't see anything yet.
Behind the debris, Randy cursed under his breath, regretting his foolish mistake. If he hadn't made the error of letting his guard down while dealing with a sudden Ghost attack, he wouldn't have lost focus on maintaining his veil.
Now he had to face the consequences of his target realizing his presence. Randy hadn't anticipated that a split-second lapse in concentration would expose him. Regret was a bitter companion now.
Randy retrieved his daggers and activated stealth to mask his presence. He believed that this would render him invisible to the man who had discovered him. Stealth mode engaged, he sprinted toward Rama from the side.
