Rama blinked rapidly once more. He gazed around, but the landscape remained unchanged, enveloped in thick white fog.
"Who are you?" he finally decided to ask the figure.
As Rama looked at her again, he realized something very strange. The woman's face appeared blurry, as if his mind still refused to allow him to see her face.
"What?" the woman said, sounding bewildered. "What's happening?"
She walked closer to Rama. Then, she circled around him slowly. After a moment, she stopped in front of him.
"You're not him," the woman said. "Oh, I see. Something must have happened. You might be his descendant from the future."
Rama frowned, finding her words nonsensical, for now.
"I don't know why you're here now, descendant. But if you're here, it means something significant has started. Do you possess something?" the woman asked, tilting her head, appearing genuinely curious.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Rama replied.
